This is probably the thousandth time such a request (which imo proves that the squad only play IS a noticeable thing) has been made but I seriously think ccp needs to implement some kinda way that either caters to people that play solo,somehow improve the match-making so that if one side throws in a proto-stompning team or a group of people with ridiculously hight KDR'S or Q-syncing, it will throw in another top tier team as the opposition, or at least for people that don't have the friends, the obsessiveness to constantly chat and be with squads, and/or sp to constantly go up against full good teams with either proto gear and well...goons more importantly, as I think this is the only type of people the game really caters to only the people that play this way (I'm speaking for the modes that arent pc and FW). I'm decent in the game myself and occasionally get in a really good group and stomp (though i never go in with the mindset to stomp...i just get invited and what happens, happens) with or without proto gear. Not the best but I feel safe to say that there is a BIG difference when playing solo and becuase of whatever reason, 90% of all matches are fairly one sided and decided from the first 2 minutes of a match, and playing in a squad is fun, but sometimes it feels hollow because honestly that's just how the game is designed to work in the given modes, and I adding a squad free mode or maybe a free-for all for a little bit of rambo/casual/peaceful sessions would be very nice...
This FPS isnt like most other pc and console shooters due to the rpg elements, and honestly being a not very polished game. I have nothing against squads and proto gear, becuase I've spent MANY months getting mine and during that time i've met some badass people, but pub matches really feel like slaughter houses between people that prefer exploiting the game vs people that are trying to just play the game for fun and games are meant to be fun, not aneurysm inducing if you dont have these couple of things . I also feel that it would be far more interesting if squads squaded up against other squads to see who is really the squadiest and even if its just reduced to pub "practice", and the people that are soloing should be able to fully enjoy competitively as well. |

Doesn't fit with the lore unless they add in some type of arena-scenario and that probably won't happen soon because of their focus on trading and whatnot in their roadmap.

Considering that the main focus the game was trying to achieve story wise is barely there (or ccp just hasnt gotten around to fully implementing it) I don't see too much of a problem with changing a couple of modes that imo would make the game generally more appealing.
Though it would be cool if they did make it lore, they could call it valhala or something, since it would be about immortal warriors battling each other...

You don't see us in corp anymore because Well Hung's been dead for nearly a month now.
