So after deliberating CCP's recent stance of basically trying to find new ways of selling Aurum to continue thriving this game, I'm really surprised that after all this time we still haven't gotten a player market.
IMO one of the best and least invasive ways CCP could potentially unlock a huge stream of cash that would simultaneously be beneficial to everyone is creating a player market that would allow sell orders of Aurum items like boosters and such.
Think about it, there's a select number of players (including myself) with way too much ISK. I have somewhere in the range of 400m ISK and I know several players and high-tier corps that dwarf that. Conversely, you have ISK strapped players that don't mind spending a few bucks on the game. If you allows poorer players to buy boosters for Aurum and sell them through a market, it would effectively be a win-win situation for just about everyone. I sure as hell wouldn't mind throwing down 50m ISK for a 30 day booster or whatever, and I'm absolutely sure there'd be many more.
At the same time, the entire system would not seem so much like a desperate cashgrab like the Warbarge is. A dynamic market that players could control through competition that simultaneously provides CCP with revenue. Poor players could make legal ISK via cash, rich players get boosters for in game currency, and CCP makes money off the whole thing.

Considering how much money was farmed from the old PC method. The prices for aurum items in terms of isk should be ludicrous, or increase depending on how long people have played this game.

In any regard, people would only pay what they want. If you could create sell orders and a market to view them, players could pay whatever price is there, or wait till someone undercuts them. The prices would shift based on supply and demand, and players will only pay whatever they think is fair.

In the beginning, things would be stupid expensive-- 10's or 100's of millions for things like 1 day boosters. However, once competition started, prices would balance themselves out.
I think this would be an awesome way to do things, though it would require Trade skills (copy-paste from Eve).
We the pc players make up a huge majority of active players. --Roman837

It's pretty much equivalent to how PLEX works in EVE which IMO is one of the greatest systems in any MMO.

Would also be interesting to see what such a market would lead the ISK value of WB components to be.

They're not really implementing a "Send to player" function are they? God that could be exploited immediately. Every new clone gets a 3 Day Passive and a 1 Day Active booster. Imagine how many free boosters you could get if it's literally just that, to send items.
