1. Get a 6 man squad. 2. Balance your roles throughout the squad by establishing who is going to be doing what. 3. Once you've completed step two, commit to that role throughout the entire battle, only changing roles if Squad Leader permits. 4. Once in battle, commnunicate constantly with ALL of your comrades, Squad Leaders should always know where and what every team-mate is doing. 5. Develop a bond between you and your fellow team-mates throughout the duration of your matches, know their play styles like the back of your hand. 6. Once you've done all 5 steps, you will be able to telepathically read your team-mates minds and be on Nyain San's/ Fatal Absolution's level.
Notes: Teamwork > Proto. Know thy enemy. Always sacrifice yourself for a team-mate.
FYI: You can jump on a grenade in Dust. If you see a core locus come flying into a crowd area, stand on top of it and absorb the damage. You just saved 4 clones by doing so.
Squad Roles distributing factors: (For compound maps) 2 logi's, 2 heavies, 2 scouts. (For open maps) 1 logi, 1 heavy, 2 scouts, 2 assaults. (Open maps option 2) 1 ADS, 1 tank, 1 logi, 3 assaults.
Teamwork has been on a landslide lately, I hope it's not like this forever. Take my advice^^^ and see how much better you perform.
I'm a try-hard, because half my team sits in the MCC.

IF all else fails, choose one objective and hold down the fort. Create a stronghold and do not spread out.

I know, it's nearly impossible these days. But if a guy were to start playing Dust today, I would want him to know how your supposed to do it.

Solo version.
Run to either enemy home point or your home point. Hold down objective as long as possible solo style.
Run into city as you see fit.
I cut you up so bad.... You gonna wish I no cut you up so bad.
