If player trading becomes a real thing I'm sure we all have officer gear we want and others we are willing to sell/trade.
I'm just curious what the community thinks the most expensive/highest value items are.
Of course the officer dropsuits are probably the rarest item in the game so they will probably bring a high price tag.
I recently tested out the archduke mk.0 with a kalante's ar, Alex's hmg and calas smg and needles to say it was INSANELY OP. I don't think I would even sell those sentinel suits.
Personally I think with the current hmg spam the officer hmgs will probably be the most sought after especially since after sniper rifles, hmgs/sentinels provide a high degree of survivability. Especially with logi support.
The only officer weapon I really want is the Darths ScR. I'd probably pay 3-5 mil each depending on how the market is one we can actually sell our items.

Probably the Balacs SMG and Sniper rifles. far as i know they're the only part of the beta tourney prizes not been made available by any other means. peopel have mentioned that they're gettign Balac Ck.0 from strongboxes and so the sniper rifles and smg would still be limited to their original numbers which i think was 25 to each of the 16 runners up and 50 to the 16 winners.
not sure exactly on th enumbers but i'm sure someone will be able to remember

Some people really want to get Kubo's.
Snipers.. why would anyone buy them? You loose 1 Thale per 100 games or something.
Hmg/FG will probably be needed along with Alex's CR.

Which is why they will be the most expensive.
If you rarely use them, you won't mind paying more money for them, as it would be a rare purchase for you.
But when you have something like an officer AR, which is lost more often, people will pay less money for them as they will have to but them more often.
I estimate Thales to be around 1-2 million isk, and things like Krin's and Balac's ARs to be around 300-500k isk.

Personally I would pay up to 2 mil for an alex's modified or gastuns hmg
I would pay 5 to 10 million for officer dropsuits
( I have received 5 total balacs modified cko's from strongboxes)
Other officer weapons I would be willing to pay 500k to 1 million each
Hopefully however ccp will not allow items to be bought with isk, only traded.
Otherwise all the super rich are going to buy everything up and leave nothing for the rest of us.

I'll just save all my unwanted officer weapons until we get an officer TacAR. Then I'll look into trading.
On prices, I'd say the snipers will be the cheapest, because I get more of them than anything, also who goes matches without losing them? If anything snipes at me I fly over them and they lose it, lol. |

Most expensive would be something that isn't lost as easily so its value might go up because of longevity.
Or the opposite might take effect and the weapons that are easiest to use will be the ones tone the most expensive one.
Either way you're looking at Supply and demand and item rarity to be factors in price.
Older officer weapons that have been here for ages are not only not as rare as they were at once due to collection over time but they are now slightly outshawdowed by the newer officer weapons. Trading of first Gen weapons will probably be the most common way people get the gear they want. This also gives an advantage to players who do not use to many weapons or noobs that don't have access to proto yet to make some good income or gear that they want that they would not have access to in normal circumstances.
