I've been away from the game's forums for a bit -
and am curious as to how other vehicle -
operators are doing as of late.
I've been running all of my vehicles and I find the
graphical update to be refreshing. Light shining
oh-so-nicely off of my vehicles.
On the builds, I haven't seen too much of a change
in performance, pg, cpu, and what not. Survival is
okay, barring the occasional highly organized AV
response in regards to my HAVs. Shields are still
my preferred, but I pop out a Madrugar on
occasion when I want a cheap tank to attack an
enemy with.
Problem with Madrugar and Gunnlogi Pg/Cpu
fitting is still there. Tougher tradeout on Madrugar
to fit tank and still be able to damage than it is on
my Gunnlogi.
On to the dropships --
LOVE the WPs they give us now for using the
mCRU. That's a positive. But with the explosion
in Proto-AV, still tough to engage with dropships
for more than a few seconds. Not impossible by
any means, and I still get a few kills and get out
but that is the life of flight I mean.
On to the LAVs --
They feel very paper-bag thin tank-wise. I love running
small rails on them with friends, but they pop so
easily. I would love to see LLAVs again so I
can get around without having that sense of terror.
Anyways, what are some of your thoughts on Vehicles
currently, fellow Vehicle Operators? |

I am solid on SP and my core skills and turret skills are solid.
I can build a good LAV that can survive, but still feels
weak even when you go with top-meta dura-modules.
I would love to buy BPOs but they haven't initiated
trading yet. Oh well. |

I use those too on my Sagas. I do wish that with enough skill and ISK, we could have something truly formidable again. I loved the LLAVs -- I used them as designed. Platform to heal heavies, and fight enemies with the turret (even when they heavily nerfed the **** out of LAV turret damage). |

I do know that LAV had a repair tool of some sort over a year or so ago but I could never get it to work
LLAVs had them. It was kind of strange, but if you got the chains on a heavy, you made that heavy effectively invincible.
The remote repair tool you could add only worked on vehicles. |
