I would argue that if your damage dealt is very High but your warpoints are low you should get some sort of consolation prize in SP.
Before reward players with high damage dealt , you need to fix the calculation If some blueberry kills themself by ramming their LAV into their HAV should not get a high damage dealt, If I crash two dropships my damage dealt should not be high.
For example there have been games were I shoot at tanks with my my forge gun but I don't get any warpoints because they start running away as soon as I shoot them once but they still have plently of shields so even when I hit them before they vanish over the horizon their shields are not fully depleted. I keep doing it because I want to practice using my forge gun, I bought 500 with aurum.
I am sure some people have spent a whole game of skirmish with their commando guarding one objective and occasionally nearly killing people only to have them run to an easier target. |

The OP specifically said certain things would have to be adjusted for this to happen. The OP even took the time to give some examples of what should be adjusted for this to happen. Do you not think your example would also be one of those things that need to be adjusted? |

+1 for Sir dukey damage done from crashing or shooting installations is very different to damaging something that can damage you back.
If you do enough damage to enemy tanks or troops you simply should not get 0 SP. |

Won't you get +25 for a kill assist?
The only place the new system breaks down is playing LOLAmbush where spawnrape is common.

+1 for rewarding players that drive off pilots with SP ammounts that arent pathetic, and ISK ammount that llow them to restock basic fittings. |
