Since we know that Simple Trading is inevitable whether in Warlords 1.1 or 1.2, I like to know what the CPM thinks about what possible use Jara Kumora The Market Agent can have once the p2p market arrives.
Let's face it, the introduction of Simple Trading will effectively make Jara redundant and pointless other than to be a nice sexy decoration in our merc quarters for those who are lonely sobs. Players will be able to sell their assets to other players at better rates than what Jara offers from the npc sell-back feature. Unlike Jara, Simple Trading will even allow players to sell any assets that can't be sold back to the npc market.
Clearly, given my market experience in Eve Online, I can see that buffing her sell-back bonus will only hurt the P2P market.
I like to start a discussion about this with the CPM and others so we can have this addressed.

At least in EVE, the player-to-player market has transaction fees. In EVE, skills can reduce those fees somewhat. I am guessing we'd have Jara reduce those fees by a percentage. (Not applicable to mere simple trading, mind you.) That being said, Jara will still likely have an effect for NPC purchases as well, unless DUST has manufacturing which is able to support the entire playerbase.
Bear in mind that while players will likely trade items they don't want, and items of high value, there's likely to be plenty of run-of-the-mill market purchases continuing as normal.

I know you leveled Bitter Vet to 5, but no, player transactions most certainly should not and could not have an AUR-based transaction fee.

I'm sure people will be ok with having her around as just a mere cosmetic in the merc quarters. Hell, that was actually the only reason I bought her in the first place.
