Now if level 4 follows this pattern, then it's either going to be around the 3600 mark (18 weeks, 4.5 months) or, if it doubles like the last upgrade cost, 4800 mark ( 24 weeks, 2 weeks shy off of HALF A YEAR) Someone clarify the Level 4 upgrade cost for me?
Now, level 4 taking upto half a year potentially IS disgraceful.
But the reason I quoted your post was to explain why we're being indignant, but also to point out that there was no need for your ignorant, needlessly rude, and completely unhelpful reply. If you don't want to read it, either don't bother, or leave. You know where the door is.
I could say the same thing to you about my response *thumbs up* make sure you have a sound foundation before you start preaching at me otherwise it'll crumble around you. Oh look, too late. The way to express to me if I don't want to read it don't bother or leave I know where the door is, is to not reply to me at all and just let that comment go unnoticed. Plus not everyone feels that way because garnered a couple likes with it even though I was seriously serious and seriously being an ass but sometimes I just get annoyed with all of you that constantly p!ss and moan and b!tch about every little thing.... Where you going? You afraid your life will crumble if your warbarge isn't upgraded in a year? Oh well dude...not the end of the world
Eh, gotta lean towards M. Epic on this, though your last reply was kinda hard to follow ;) I'll sum it up using what that kat said to whom you were replying to begin with: "If you don't want to play it, either don't bother, or leave."
Damn. When I first got into this game, I was shocked that SP was based on time in and goals, as opposed to the established time sink progression of EvE. I feared that the concept of pseudo immediate gratification risked creating an impatient mindset. If the discussion of progression is open and based on what I as a player can do to earn MORE "now", then that can be an ever-sliding goal post. AUR shortcut gear, open SP to caps to boosters to OMEGA boosters; it all creates this air of assuming entitlement, peppered with all the arguments both for and against every single yard gained in this development.
Here we are again with Warbarge 101, with all of the same tired complaints and whines as every previous encounter of gains vs effort. What effort to sit and wait? It's a mini-game at best. It's POG. I get the argument of P2P... or at least pushing back, saying enough already with the money grab. Problem is, that gets lost in the forum tide of immediate want and gratification and the frustration of now.
Make a point, that's cool. It's still F2P though. Are WB sub-system upgrades too much/little for the time/AUR needed? Hey now, that's a conversation right there to debate and lobby for adjustments if needed. It's a new thing. What new thing is perfect in DUST? In anything, really. I agree that it's off. Maybe even way off. If those numbers are correct, time to wait is harsh even by EvE standards.I hate that my cap only allows me 2 days before I have to log back in just to claim a relatively small amount of components. Just don't cap it or something and let my cup overflow. If I'm back in a week or so, great. I've lost nothing for investing nothing. That pill might not be so hard to get down. Just know that conversation is swallowed whole by all the ranting. Headless chickens running circles trying their best to cluck and moan.
To be clear, this is not necessarily directed to the OP. It's more to the mindset that exists in the community as a whole, based on several threads floating about lately. Push away. I did. Distance gains perspective. Perspective offers peace in consideration. That's my best Yoda bit i got.
Or.. don't. Continue yelling at your shadow for being two steps behind. In the meantime, I'll play with my new toy for a few more days still until the shine wears off. At that point, I'll probably continue killing myself with a PLC. Cuz I'm bad. Terribad, as the kids say. =( off topic, when I was a kid we had a store downtown where you could buy all your cool breakdance gear. The red zipper jackets, hoodies, spiked bracelets, fingerless gloves, boom boxes, etc,. That place was called, "Superbad." That's me. Superbad. But not in the ironic cool kinda way. I'm just really... really bad. =^.^=
