I just went tanking (I gunned ) with a buddy, we did great and both had over 3000 wp but how do you get the assists? I damage the targets and let him finish them off but not a single assists!! What gives CCP?

The only time I got some was by shooting with a blaster turret installation. I discovered at the end that I did 3/19 vehicle kill assit :3

You get in a vehicle and damage a enemy, but don't kill them, and then let someone else kill them. I know what your talking about though, I had that daily goal yesterday, it was BS. I spent all day trying not to kill people. 
I'm a try-hard, because half my team sits in the MCC.

Don't bother gunning if you don't have a mate online, just damage enemies with large turret and let infantry finish the job.

Despite the way the mission is worded, the kill assist counts in every seat, even the driver seat of a tank or ADS
It has to be an actual +25 kill assist though, not the "sitting in vehicle assist". Maybe your hits weren't registering and you saw the standard passenger assist, or some other bug. Try fitting a tank with a militia blaster turret and wounding people
I sat in a militia blaster tank for an entire match trying to tap people with 1-2 pulses without killing them, and hoping they would eventually run into my team's bullets
I cursed every time the turret got a headshot, but eventually managed to complete the mission |

+50 kill assists work as well.
I'm a try-hard, because half my team sits in the MCC.

Your buddy needs to get out of the tank n finish them off. Its the only way.

A friend called in a Blaster tank with a small blaster, he got on the small, I was on the large. He shot dudes and I finished them off. He got that mission completed in a few seconds since it was Domination. |
