Some people dislike King Thunderbolt's videos given that his personality is that of a prima donna while not being a master of the game himself. Whenever he dies, since he is a truly great player, it is never due to bad aim or a disadvantaged fight such as when the opponent sees him first, is using a better weapon, or just has some advantage that results in Thunderbolt dying. No, it is because the other person is using lag switches or bad hit detection or some other thing that allows King Thunderbolt to never admit that he may have died due to his play.

There is also the fact that he is criminally misinformed. He suggests, if you are using the Assault Rail Rifle, to first use an SMG to strip away their shields and then use the Assault Rail Rifle to finish them off. His premise is faulty as he is suggesting using a -15/+15 weapon to strip away the shields before swapping to a -10/+10 weapon.

Now others may dislike him because he is also a bit of a jerk to his comment section, always spouting his superiority. Finally, some may dislike him given that it may be "cool" to dislike him.

While it may be due to the fact that someone killed another person in a videogame it is not necessarily hard and fast truth on one person's feeling to the offending party.

King Thunderbolt is an epic, elaborate troll.

His purpose is to make himself superior to everyone without actually being superior. His tactics are also trolls, and so are his comments/commentaries.

Also, loads of people complain about loads of things. One person bitching about nova knives' OHK, and others as seen on the forums who don't think vehicles should exist in the game. Judge (when he still played) whined about the rather crap state of dropships, and CEOPyrex is convinced that a scout should have better odds at taking on sentinels, and that sentinels shouldn't be able to strafe.

Watching a few minutes of one of the many videos he uploads... great way to decide on his character.

We love Rattati , even on the shittiest days dust has to offer. Which is definitely today. But nothing can change our love for Rattatti.

Yah who the hell wouldn't love a developer that has spent over a year, two facing the community?

Talking about developing DUST and adding to the experience.

Then spends a year Nerfing and buffing every item that has already been nerfed and buffed 2-10 times in the 2 years previous..

Then when we get to development time... Spends half a year developing Aurum features to suck more money out of the tiny player base.

Meanwhile New player experience is even worse... Game performance is even worse, While features like Auto inertia dampener that was never asked for is added, Needle mechanics making the item worthless unless someone decides to push a button..


Take a step back and really look at the things actually done in this game for the last year and a half... Would you pay 3-4 people 150-200 thousand in US dollars for that?
