Questions:
- Does CCP peruse the forums censoring content of which they do not approve by either banning players or locking topics? Or do they rely on forum warriors to report infractions?
- Is it considered unsportsmanlike to request the banning of a forum user following utter humiliation in a match?
- Are there known players who will try to get you banned from the forums because you beat them in game?

What should I do if I think I have been targeted by a player who repeatedly tries to get me banned, or succeeds in getting me banned because they are a self-righteous moody person, although I have said nothing that others have not also said? |

There's not a great deal you can do, honestly.
If it's part of mass sentiment and it wasn't particularly vicious, you can try sending in a ticket to appeal your ban. The mods are fairly reasonable and I know they are willing to lift the more unreasonable bans.
However, I'd rather not openly discuss this in great depth here on the forums as chances the banhammer will fly down upon me as well. If your ticket doesn't work out, send me a mail and I'll be happier to discuss it with you via that medium.
Although you can just laugh in the face of your ban and just get out your alts, as you have done.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

You can always file an appeal.
Also, perhaps consider evaluating your words and actions. If you start flirting with a line, maybe you should adapt and change how you behave and what you say. Sometimes it only takes once to cross that line. I have seen trolls get a few people banned.
At the same time, using the poor behavior of others to rationalize and condone your own poor behavior is not something anyone should do.
For clarification, I do not say that I believe that you are behaving poorly, as you have not described the behavior and I do not make assumptions. I merely make an observation and warning based on what I have seen from others on the forums.

My fav banneds new tune, '4 months till maine'.
The records show that it has topped the charts for their last tune which was named '1 month till maine.
There have been talks of releasing a new tune called 'Permabanned' but it has not been seriously considered.

What did the banneds sing about on 4 months till maine? I wonder if the sentiments were popular among the listeners and if the banneds were simply resonating the sonorous zeitgeist. |

You have to be pretty downright venomous with your criticism to get a ban. It seems like particularly harsh titles for threads draw CCP's ire much faster. Some posters will report posts that simply beat their point or argument. One thing I have noticed though, is that you seem to be able to argue much more vehemently against CPM's than normal players without being reported. It's like the CPM's are expected to absorb much more verbal abuse.
At this point, if you really want to talk some crazy trash, there's an alt for that.

i've been banned 6 times just go with it and troll with alts.. i was cheated out of my likes and they were given to my alts instead tho.. i still hold CCP to that. |
