Its ridiculous.

Just give them another slap on the wrist, that'll teach them.

I can't help but feel that some people on the Seahawks team might have purposely sabotaged the game. I feel this because of what happened immediately after that last interception by the Patriots. The Patriots did not have enough room to kneel down without kneeling down in the endzone which would have been a safety giving the Seahawks 2 points and would have forced the Patriots to kick the ball off to the Seahawks. The Seahawks then would have only needed to get into field goal range and so long as they make the field goal they would have won by 1 point. What happens though? An idiot on the Seahawks team encroaches on the Patriots causing a penalty which moves the Patriots up 5 yards giving them enough room to kneel down and end the game.
Two major **** ups like that in such a short period of time given the conditions of the situation seems a bit suspect to me. |

That game was incredible
Yes passing was a bad play call but you had a rookie cb defending on a slant route that is usually a gimmie TD
It was a miracle interception
Seattle has probably the best defense of all time, I think they can get back to the SB and win
some facts about "deflate gate" only ONE ball out of 12 checked 2 psi below regulation. It is believed that ball is the only one that ended up on the Colts sideline so we can just as easily say thay tampered with it. Aaaaaand After the balls were checked at halftime by the refs and all the balls were replaced......The Pats had a 10x better second half
Hard to defend spygate. Other teams taped but the Patriots were specifically told not to and were taping walkthroughs before games. I'm not sure if you've ever been to a football game but the "walkthrough" is seen by everybody. Stealing signals? When might Mike Ditka was asked about it he said " if I lose because someone was stealing my signals, then shame on me." It's obviously debatable but I think it's very difficult to beat a nfl team solely because you know their signals. You still have to line up and execute.
It's like saying the reason the Seahawks beat peyton manning last year is because they figured out what "Omaha" means
When in reality the Broncos were not ready , executed poorly and just got the snot kicked out of them.

The Butler interception was just as heartbreaking to Seattle as that juggling midair catch that brought them to the red zone was to us. (Tyree? Manningham? Nightmares returned on that play)
(That circus reception was off of Butler btw -they were targeting him cause he's a rookie and it should have been a huge mismatch)
Seattle also had all kinds of problems on that last series with time management they probably figured if it was incomplete the clock would stop. Then run lynch - timeout -then one more play
When the Patriots had the ball Brady changed the cadence count and instead of bobbing his head two times he bobbed it three which drew them off. Brady was going to QB sneak no matter what and Seahawks knew it

In hindsight, if that pass wasn't intercepted, it would have been a play that was unexpected and could have won the game. It was a gamble for the Seahawks coach. It just didn't work out. |
