ON Dust ive noticed there are a lot of dead skils. By dead skills i mean there are some that help none after level one. For example if you go to vehicle command and upgrade it. It allows you to use HAV`s after 1. And after that it does nothing.
My suggestion would to add bonuses like plus 3% to overall CPU/PG. The same goes to different dead skills. Make more suggestions below and comment.

It's been like that for as long as I remember. They might change them in the future, but I've heard no mention of such intentions.

Way back when, a lot of skills did give bonuses per level that don't now if I remember correctly. There have also always been skills that are worthless to get above a certain level too however.
It would be cool if every skill had a purpose all the way to level 5. Even small bonuses are better than nothing.

New tanks will be introduced soon, that skill should finally be useful after a long time.

A drop suit skill also. One of them you just get to level 3 and you have access to all suits...4 and 5 are useless

There are far too many that need small bonus applied. things like rep tool operation and nanohive. they don't do anythign to encourage trainign past vertain levels for new players, examples
Repair tool operation - 2% repair amount per level Cloak operation - 5% reduction to cloak recharge speed per level Drop uplink Operation - +1 Spawn count per level
I'd also like to see more specialization skills to further refine and improve weapons, Make them a 6x multiplier (same as the fitting optimization) so they make weapons far more effective but at a huge SP cost for those who truly want to specialize, for example
HMG Coolant Optimization - Reduce heat build up 5% per level Swarm Launcher Sensor Optimization - 15m Lock Range per level Sniper Rifle Optic Optimization - 5% Zoom fidelity per level Shotgun Maintainence Optimization - 5% Rate of Fire per level
Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience

Rattati has mentioned that they will be addressed. However, consider this; for every skill that gives you a percentage based bonus you increase the gap between new peeps and vets in terms of in-game performance. On the other hand, I want every skill increase to feel like a meaningful event in the progression of your merc. So, a balance to strike between meaningful and overpowering bonuses.
But yeah, burn all the dead skills. Burn them with fire.
