Probably because squads were full. That happens a lot. Besides that, RG has PC's everyday, and we will help you out dude. Gotta give us more than a day....

Search for smaller/average sized corp with good players.
Bigger corps are mess if you're new there.
In smaller one you'll find your place.
Ps. By smaller corp i mean 30-150 players corp with atleast 10-25+ active players at any given time.
