Does the Amarr have some kind of advantage over Gallente that the other factions don't have? I run into way more Amarr that are hard to kill than I do with the Minmitar and Caldari. I tend to get into epic battles with the Amarr. |

No, but Amarr tend to have more armor/EHP than Gallente....
What gun are you using? AR? I'd go to something with an armor bias (RR/CR). Personally, I prefer the ARR.
Moving past that, I find dual-tanked, speed-tanked Minmatar assaults the most difficult to kill. |

Amarr=Shield/Armor Gallente=Armor And Caldari are weak to begin with so they will never be a problem to kill.

All of the races have advantages over each-other, but it depends on which suits your talking about.
Though the Amarr's advantage is that it has the highest EHP of it's respective classes.

You mean those potential 35 or so point of armour and the almost exactly the same low slot allocations across the board?

Where do people get the idea that the Gallente are pure armor? The Amarr even has more base armor HP and Gallente have higher base armor repair.
PS: Dual tanking is one of the many cancers of Dust.

They usually have more armor and their assault bonus is actually worth a damn. Most Gallente run at 500 armor or less. Amarr (or Amarrians in Gallente suits lol) usually have more. Don't know which number to throw out. 600? 700? I've seen assaults with 1k armor, but I wouldn't recommend it. |

I would think it also depends on which weapons you are each using and what the damage profile is.
