The payout in Dust 514 is really unfair. Unfair for Veteran and new players. I`m a logi and I can especially relate to this topic.
Sorry my Google Spreadsheet wont open ill do it on the actual forum.
I took a lot of time to figure this out but I think I might of found a few suggestions to fix ISK issues with Vets and New Players.
First one idea would be to lower the price of the actual items themselves. Which would work as a bandage but would not be sufficient enough.
VETERAN PLAYERS ( isk payout )
Take total Warpoints earned from the player Times 366. Then .3 % added on per # of kills. MATH BELOW
EX. 2000WP ( 365 ) = 730,000. Then find out the % from kills. So if I get 4 kills. Thats 730,000 ( 1.2% ) = 876,000 Isk. Not to mention the loyalty rank bonus.
NEW PLAYERS
Take total WP ( 360 ). Then times Minutes played.
Like this: 700 ( 360 ) = 252,000. Then, 252.,000 ( 12% ) For 12 minutes of game play = 282,240. Times a POSSIBLE .3% per kill.
** Keep in mind if you do the Veterans method, lets say a logi got 5000 WP in a match. The Isk might be very high, but the equipment cost kind of puts that isk to use. Plus if your not a logi you got the .3 % per kill on your side.

the money is simply crazy.
you do realize how easy it is to get 2000 WP's even without being a logi?
you just want to run proto all the time without being good? |

Ahh.. good taxi. Heres the thing. Tanks are coming out for one and prices are going to go up. And you cannot get 2000 WP a battle without a major amount of ISK spent. Also the variable`s are subject to change, I just gave the basic structure at which CCP can change. Change like instead of multiplying it be 365 multiplying it by 200 instead. But 200,000 is too low.
Another thing, if you are not a logi, then the kill bonus will get you money on top of the WP`s. So it balances itself out.

i beleive the pot should go 60/40 win loss
out of your sides money 70% should be WP based and 30% the value of what you killed
200k is a low payout......its rare for me to get it. |

Ya taxi if you want lower Isk do this equasion
Lets say you get 2000 WP a game
2000 ( 250 ) = 500,000 Isk. Times lets say four kills = a 1.2 %. So added on the total would be 560,000. Seems fair right?, well in some aspects no. That's why I proposed lowering the cost of equipment.

I am slightly at a loss of to what you want all this money for and what its linked too.
the key point for me is that payout needs to be linked to what is lost or the economy goes nuts. if in one battle all that got lost was apex suits and starter fits then is a high reward warranted? alternatively if 150 proto fits are lost and 12 proto fit vehicles should i get paid the same per WP as the first match?
personally i am also of the belief that a proportion of the value of every kill you make should go into your pocket. if player a) kills 10 proto suits costing the enemy 1.5 mil and player b) kills 10 starter fits costing nothing why are the financial rewards the same? but thats is less relivant.
my final point is there needs to be large cash sinks - even more so now that APEX514 is coming. people need something to sink their isk into. |

Bullshit. I can easily get 2000 WP with an entirely BPO Logi setup.

a proportion of what you kill...... said earlier in the thread 30% of the value. 70% goes to the central kitty of which non killing actions uplinks, hacking, damage , reps ect would get. |

Actually ur equasion is wrong.
2000(730)= 730,000. Then I get 4 kills. Multipling it by a 1.2%. = 876,000

Let me make sure I have this math right, I sleepy so I may be wrong lets say I low ball my average numbers so 1500 wp and 15 kills (1500*365) (15*.3)= isk (547500)(4.5) = 2,463,750 ISK? is that right because that would be WAY too high, even in a terribad game running full proto I would be making 1.5M ISK a match?
Payouts are a bit borked right now a do need a tweak up but really only a marginal one, a chunk of this game everyone seems to miss is basic economics, knowing what to run and when. Making an easy 2M per match would completely invalidate that, with those sort of payouts you might as well remove isk prices on items altogether.
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.

You do realize that 1.2% is not the same thing as multiplying by 1.2.....right? 120% would the same as multiplying by 1.2
Trust me buddy, I'm an engineer, I like to think I'm fairly decent at basic math.
