The doors in the Merc quarters, will those ever open? If so will they contain the Warbarge for us to walk around rather than us just staying in our quarters, and will one of the doors lead into the Corp Warbarge so we can mingle with other corp members?
I mean to be honest there doesn't seem to be anymore room in our quarters to keep the Warbarge console. It would also be awesome to see some friends rather than feeling lonely in the quarters.

Our quarters are currently the same ones used by pilots in eve, they are 'unique' to each station type. The door going straight back from the main section of your room leads to a place to enter ones pod and an observation deck for your spaceships, most people choose not to have their game put them in 'captains quarters' simply because its technically a loss of functionality.
The second door was supposed to lead to a public area where you could interact with other capsuleers or immortals, but that was a feature that never got completed due to the incarna riots (70$ monocle 'micro'transactions). The EVE team only completed one set of quarters, they had to pull people from world of darkness (which reached alpha THREE SEPERATE TIMES) in order to complete the other three captains quarters environments.
Dust and legion are currently experiencing similar problems to world of darkness... except we're just a little bit further along (we're technically still a playable beta) and whoever is calling the shots has decided to throw the baby (dust514) out with the bathwater in order to try over again with 'legion' (it's the same! but totally different!). CCP upper management suffers from not committing to an idea and thus wasting a lot of 'work'.

ok 1 Legion hasn't been confirmed, 2 they have not been given the green light and 3 all the forum say is that it hasn't even left alpha testing so ya its better to not doubt anything

No I read it clearly and I'm referring to both Warbarges. Sorry to disappoint you but you won't be walking around in any Warbarge unless you're waiting for an FW or PC match to start.
Maybe in EVE: Vaporware, but not DUST.

Sure it is.
You asked if those doors will ever open, and if so will they allow you to access your corp's Warbarge. To which, I replied no won't don't, nor will they ever in DUST.
I don't need to be a CPM to know that, it's common sense.

If we haven't been able to walk outside our quarters in EVE for 3.5 years, we won't be able to in Dust/Legion
The station environments were never finished AFAIK, there's nothing behind the door except darkness, despair and unfinished code. |
