Why is your dropship on the ground in the first place?

Initially they are on the ground because of the RDV. |

Prolly because the rdv just delivered it. The tanker is prolly too busy looking over his shoulder for scary swarms to see where he's going. |

Didn't. He was rail sniping in the middle of the battle. He even rolled back to do it a second time. |

I have seen plenty of tankers do this just to troll.
You are staying on the ground too long if this is happening. If waiting for the pick up timer to expire you should be hovering about 20m off the ground. You never know when a tanker with a SSD is going to come rushing to the redline meaning you need to move in a hurry. |

Move away from where blues are calling in their vehicles. Quite the opposite really. If you call in your vehicle first, there's no tank on the ground to ram into it. Avoiding RDV's is quite simple, so I'd suggest taking that option over waiting for someone who's likely to hang around just to ram the vehicle.

I usually wait for people to move, when I'm in my tank. But the amount of times I've seen a friendly LAV speeding towards me, and I've stopped completely to let them drive around, but they just go face first into the tank anyway... It's ridiculous.
If someone rams my LAV with a tank when I've taken the time to move well out of their path, I usually spend the rest of the match trying to flip their tank over with my tank or just delay them when they're getting showered with swarms. 9 times out of 10 the other guy comes out dead. REVENGE! |

I don't like vandalizing other people's property... but this one time I called in a tank... I was like "Where the hell is the marker?" I turned around and saw it was about 40 M behind me, where a dropship was being deposited. I tried to tell the guy to take flight ASAP, and made a big show of nudging him and pointing at his dropship urgently, but he either had his sound off, or he thought I was an idiot.
Needless to say, my tank was deposited directly on top of the DS. o.o;
The deployment logic is a bit... awkward.

Sometimes you have tankers who troll just to do this because I've seen that crap too .
I'm with the OP on this one .
