Anyways.............. it says Press X for a reason. If people are not smart enough to press X when the game tells them too then they deserve to die from jumping out of the MCC.

If CCP thinks that is not enough then take away auto damp and put in GIANT letters "Press X so you do not die!!!!!!!!!!"
I've never pressed X for the inertial dampener EVER.
I press L1 because I am a praetorian.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

The number of people who don't understand "Press X to Not Die" is VASTLY smaller than the number of us who are getting sick and ******* tired of it kicking in automatically and leaving us temporarily stunned in front of shotguns and HMGs. Or whole squads. Or tanks. Or Dropships. Or LAVs with Railgun turrets.

I find it a bit comical that they turn on auto damp "for newbies" but then give absolutely zero material to teach newbies about bandwidth. |

The whole reason for the auto dampeners is to keep morons from committing suicide intentionally, people created these so called "suicide corps" just to commit suicide in battle so the team would lose, honestly idk what moron would get a joy of committing suicide

Better yet. Introduce a toggle to turn off the auto dampener.
And then:
Have a loading screen tip that tells you it's an option
"The automatic inertia dampener can be turned OFF for those who would prefer to fall silently, at the expense of some fall damage"
