I don't like the idea of coloring prototype suits (or "rare" suits in Legion, since they follow a "common, uncommon, rare" system) black with red lights. Seems far too boring, and disconnected with lore. I also don't like the nomenclature of the prototype/rare suits either for the same reason.
Names of the highest level suits should be named and colored based on manufacturers.
Example:
Carthum scout ak.0 (proto/rare Amarr scout). Instead of being black and blue with red lights, it should have the Carthum Conglomerate colors. Any proto/rare weapons made by Carthum should also have this color scheme (like Carthum assault scrambler rifle).
CreoDron logistics gk.0 (proto/rare Gallente logistics). Instead of being black and yellow with red lights, it should have the CreoDron colors. Any proto/rare weapons made by CreoDron should also have this color scheme (like CreoDron shotgun).
Boundless sentinel mk.0 (proto/rare Minmatar sentinel). You get the point.
It only makes sense that these suits (and weapons) should carry the names and colors of their manufacturer. Non-proto/rare suits can keep the default rare-specific colors.
If the player is unsatisfied with default colors or manufacturer color, they should be able to recolor their suits with microtransaction repainting.
Support 'Keshava' for the new Gallente HAV name in honor of Cat Merc's cat which recently passed away.

I agree. The Prototype suits are our versions of T2 ships, the T2 ships are not just an overall bland black color but that corporations color.
I really hate that all the Logistics suits are colored the same color regardless of race.
It's like someone help a multiregional sum it on Fashion in New Eden, I highly doubt that.
Minmatar and Amarr agreeing that their assaults should have the same distinguishing color? Lol, not happening.
Vote 'Keshava' for the new Gallente HAV name!

It might be possible with the dropsuit color module rattati mentioned. The default color should fit though. |

Yep, though I think that the situation in Dust probably resulted due to a lack of ability to render new textures and gradients for decent color schemes using less bright colors. Which is probably why we ended up with what we ended up with. Could also be that they just didn't think about the fact that those corporations already have color schemes.
