If this has already been discussed sorry to bring it back up but there are a huge number of posts involving spawns. I was hoping we could get rid of the fact that there are certain spots on each map that you can spawn to w/o there being a CRU, MCC or uplink present. In beta as well as sometime after there was not the possibility for this and then sometime ago during an update they add a few spots where you can spawn in even if the enemy has taken the CRU there. |

I'd like more of these areas you can always spawn in... But only around your teams redzone. Then get rid of (or make smaller) the redzone.
As for out on the map, it does seem a bit pointless pushing a team back and taking their cru, just to have them spawn there anyway. |

I made the same post about this also, and I throught I was the one thinking this same thing. so why have dropsuits use drop uplinks when there are uplinks that are on the ground that you can hack and use. the only maps that should use drop uplinks are ambush cause they don't have ground uplinks on there only when they do ambush oms. |

Umm in case you haven't noticed some of the new maps also have the regular ground spawn that isn't in a redline these are more than likely the one you mention seeing how the old maps have them in a redline. Sounds to me you just want to make camping it easier by locking the enemy team to the MCC after taking the cru isn't it easy enough for you campers just to camp the ground spawn after taking the cru? LOL. That's what happens most of the time anyway same thing camping the MCC on the pipeline map when it isn't in a redline then the same guys complain about redline snipers and anti vehicle fits who kill the redline campers. By the way some of my favorite hate mail I've received came from redline campers. |

When you assume, you make an ass...
I hate matches where the other team is pushed back to the redzone. By adding in more spawns that can't be hacked at the back of the map (rather than the ones further up) we could remove the redzone and it would be impossible to trap a team at the MCC, because the whole team would have to spread out to cover all the back line of spawns, leaving the other team free to spawn all in at one side and completely thrash the small portion of the enemy team that's camping it.
Because of this tactic it would then make more sense to defend objectives and other areas of the map, rather than pushing back to the main set of spawns. |
