Why is this still happening?
I saw a few jerkbags doing it the other week, in a freaking pub match for all to see, and then the same again this week - two douches shooting each other with tanks, allowing themselves to rep, and repeating.
This kind of **** really pisses me off and belittles the games mechanics in my opinion, boosting should be a ban-able offence.
I'll get back to creating my second boosting ticket in 2 weeks now then...

hey, if ccp gives a daily quest for you to get 10k sp in one battle to finally get some decent loot through all this BS. i have no problem with it. if they do it for multiple matches then they are like 90% of the people on the leaderboards. If you have a problem get a gun and go introduce yourself

Because it is, mechanically, the fastest and easiest way to get an obscene amount of War Points quickly. The reason people want the War Points is as follows:
1. A huge amount of SP at the end of the match. Faster capping out or just more SP. If you can pull 8k WP in a 13 minute match, you are getting 19,900 SP pre-boost.
2. A large amount of ISK.
3. Getting up on the leader boards. Epeen.
It shouldn't be done, and it falls under "Specifically Restricted Conduct" in the EULA (Section 6. A-3), but there is a flat out reason why people do it.

I interrupted some boosters today, came back later and they were still doing it, although this time they had called in a tank.
So i killed the tank and then the remaining LAVs, Does this make me a bad person?
