Yip been there done that . It's always a laugh and a good way of trolling the enimy team . I also like to leave moderately well fitted sicas that have a few res on the sweet spot .

nawww im positively 99.99999% sure you can passive scan equipment, whenever theres a hive/uplink on otherside of a wall it shows up on my radar |

lower tier equipment has a low scan Db level that can be picked up by almost anyone.
ADV/PRO equipment can get past passives unless you run Precision Enhancers.

I've actually forgot right after getting killed this way and smacked a remote right after, it's such instinct to just smack equipment when you see it, a lot of people will fall for it >.<
