I got maxed cores, a assault ck.0 and prof 3 snipers (I've been sniping since closed beta, deal with it), prof 3 AR, Prof 3 RR, prof 3 ScP, Prof 3 B.P, protonades, and light weapon/sidearm OP 5 to save CPU. Oh, and level 5 biopics and Kincats. I just dropped my last cash I had left on that respec, I'm considering going Minja again next time I get paid (I need to learn to save...)

I can't compete with the vets, my measly 26M SP can barely have 1 suit maxed out. This game is starting to feel like a grind to me, maybe more like an untreatable ****** addiction.

I've been in a few 'big' corps (The proto stompers, aka Titans of Phoenix, OSG, GODS AMONG MEN, WarRavens, Planet Express, etc) Look, I've been around the block a few times. At this point, I don't know where to go. I haven't been in a tactically organized squad in a very long time. I guess if some corp wants to take me in, It's not like I have anything better to do. Hell, the Mercs of PAST I'm in was a fail and a half aswell :/

I'll give it until Sunday night. Unless something changes by then, I think I'm out.

His buddies are all around him, one is letting him rest his head on his knee while he slowly bleeds out. Kill3, from what you've posted, you've been at this game for nearly four years----you've spent much of that time moving from one specialty to another with your SP spent up---you're even considering ROTATING back into a previous role----you can't wait to get home each day to get back on this game---and you've spent Aurum on at least one respec----YOU'VE FINALLY decided to throw down this game, but you are making an announcement and reading each person's response (like the customary suicide-person who wants someone to stop her from doing it).

In other words, it's sounds like you are the exact player CCP hopes its games continue to generate. 4 years is a GOOD run (show me another shooter that does that, and still leaves the player feeling like an underachiever.)

With 21 million SP, I was able to finalize two complete suits---KILL3, don't feel small or slighted by that fact. I see some players go through Dust too timidly (unhappy results ) and some players go through Dust too overachiever-boldly (same unhappy results ).
Sandy blew her SP on proto-level 5 everything, and then stepped out into the open street thinking she was a god, so we hosed her repeatedly. She handled Dust's rewards wrong.
Billy squats in the eaves and corners of every little rock and electrical-closet on the map, wearing the CHEEEPest suit he can and hoping it will minimise his 20-deaths per match ISK loss, so he's only got 500K SP in 2 years. He managed Dust's Risk-to-Profit system wrong.

So what was the thing that YOU did wrong, Kill3?
GǪ.Nothing! It looks to me like, unlike the other two kinds of players I just mentioned, you had a healthy well-rounded addiction and fun time with the world's most-frustrating golf course.

Finally, permanently put down the game after your long, cool trip.
Or, stay with the game and do stuff all over again differently.

It's all good either way. And you know you enjoyed yourself, looking back. You KNOW you enjoyed it.

I find this to be a bit odd, seeing as I have a character alt with a little over 14M who competes just fine with vets.

26M is a lot, what on earth do you have your SP in?

Maybe you just have burnout, which is fine and normal. *shrugs* Best of luck and wishes wherever you go next, but your SP is not your problem, far from it. I think you need to revisit your approach on SP (Some skills are simply not worth maxing for efficiency's sake of getting the most bang-for-your-buck), and perhaps find people to play with, or change your tactics altogether.

Then again, I'ma Skirmish Dust Bunny with a side of Domination, Ambush I avoid with a ten foot pole as it's garbage imo for balance.

4 years and only 26m? I've been here for about 6 months and I have 13m you either need to change up your play style or try to squad up with people that know what they are doing

sorry I'm not trying to bash I just think that if you put even an hour of play time into it daily over 4 years you should have way more then 26m sp, you can still have fun with low amounts of sp tho if you have your biotics skills maxed you can make some pretty fun troll like fits

just try to change up your play style after all this isn't the same game it once was approach it as a noob and go crazy with mlt and basic fits
