Lots of reps, a kincat or card reg, poor armor tank on lows.
Damage mod or precision on High.

In my fits, between STD/ADV/PRO the difference comes in speed and shields.
I basically have my base fit with 3 comp reactives and a light damage mod, with a Plasma Rifle, Ion Pistol, Flux and whatever equipment you please (reduce meta level in case you lack CPU/PG).
From there add shields, kin cats, and up the meta level of your rifle and modules.

I recommend stacking the lows with reactives. High slots of choice, either shield extenders or damage mods. I tend to use more shield extenders personally.
Active scanner isn't a great piece of kit. I suggest a nanohive or nanite injector.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

I don't have one but I do have the gallente logi. I've though about skiling up to one and if I ever do I would put in it 1 shield extender, 1 dammage mod. Two armor plate. Now the question becomes which one? Ferrorsscale, enhance plate or complex plates? The ferrorscale keeps you movile but with the regular plates you get a hell of a lot more buffer. I suppose it depepnds on your play style. I would then put 2 complex armor repairs. This way I can shoot a couple of guys then take cover and recover quickly.
Use the weapon you like most. If you want the gallente bonus then its either going to be the gek or the breach (at lest for me). However, I think that bonus at least for me wouldn't make a difference. I prefer the combat riffle. However, if you use the combat rifle then you have to have nanohives. Other wise a scanner would be nice. Or go for a link. There seems to be a lack of link placement as of late.
I think that at a minimum you need damage mod, shield extender and 1 repair module. Everything is up to you but believe me, the armor repair makes a huge difference. It is not the 1st encounter bu the one right after that you have to .
I have various logi fits but, my favorite is the assault version (I call it assault). It has less armor for mobility but has the damage mod. So it is 1 shield extender, 1 damage mod, 1 complex armor plate, 1 ferroscale and 1 complex repair. That is it because the advance logi has 2 on the eft but 3 on the right where as the assault suit has 4 on the right. This one is very survivable due to its mobility and fast regen.
My advice is to play to your style and fit your suit to accomodate to your game style. |

My standard Gal assault (less than 12,000 ISK):
Standard weapon of your choice
Basic shield extenders
Basic armor plates
Standard flux grenade
Flux repair tool (for the extra range, regular version also does just fine)
Total of over 800hp
My advanced Gal assault (25,000 ISK or so):
Standard weapon of your choice
Enhanced shield extenders
Basic armor plates
Standard flux grenade
Advanced repair tool
1,000hp
Rep tool is an easy way to gain WP while the suit offers better survivability than logi/scouts, and the suits are cheap enough to make profiting easy each battle.
