Hey guys I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on r and the calmando and cal assault i tried the arr today and damn it was nice but i cant choose between galmando/assault or calmando/assault i wannatry to stick the the same commando and assault racial wise to conserve on sp spent into weapons so whats yalls thoughts? |

i prefer the arr over regular rr but i can adapt in fights to going from cover to cover to all out in thier face back to cover to cover if i have to

The ARR is for more closed range combat yes.
But shield suits are not.
I run a STD ARR on my 'Raven' Assault C-1 and the best way to run it (for me) is to stick mid range from the frontlines while running from cover to cover once my shields drop below 20%.
I go 17+/2 on almost each match using this tactic

Choose between Amarr, slaves and Caldari.
ARR works best on Caldari and minmatars cuz they're fast and have good regen.

The 2 deaths are you straying away a bit to far, only to get picked off by a scout or sniper :P

I have used the ck.0 and the mk.0...they are quite similar just that one has less regen and more tank
I am spending SP on the cal scout because of its god-like regen and i don't need to fit dampeners on it to hide unless a gal logi comes out
453 shield and 153 armor (i think?) as the most i used when i was assaulting with it...lol assaulting with a scout :3

Yeah with a shield reg + reactive plate on the lows and 4 extenders on highs you can really get close to what the cal assault is. You have a bit less HP, but all the advantage in dampening, scanning and speed the scout has! And DAT DELAY!

IKR! The cal scout is a mini cal assault that is speedy, stealthy, strafe'ier, better at recharging...

My honest opinion:
There's nothing a Caldari Assault can do that a Minmatar Assault can't do better.
Caldari Commando is reserved only for redline snipers since legitimate snipers are out of the question as of Hotfix Delta.
Sniper range nerf did nothing but make it harder to counter-snipe redliners. That and open up for really stupid feedback

All in all im looking to have 1 assault logi(maybe not after today) heavy commando and i dont like scouts but been thinking bout getting one
its just i wanted to get galmando but i want my comando and assault to be same race (saves sp on weapons) |
