Hejj all...
Given Iam seeing more and more Amarr Assault suits running weapons different that Laz0r and Scr
(mostly ACR and RR), I start to question the use of the overheat in Amarr weapons.
Me personally, Iam very happy with the overheat, as it turns handling and mastering these weapons
into an art. But seeing these weapons fail in Amarr commando and logistics hands, forcing them to turn
to ASCR instead (and I guess that was not intended, else giving the Apex Commando a regular Scr
would not make sense), makes me ask:
- how about providing overheat bonus to all Amarr suits, adding the old racial bonus on top in lessened
form (given the issues with logistics drop uplink bonus vanishing after respawn this bonus could even be kept
in its present form in case the bonus vanishing is to stay), adding an armor or armor speed penalty mitigation
bonus on top for the assault. This will define the Amarr as the main race to use these weapon pieces of art
yet keep their roles differentiated from another.
- when you are at it, go further with overheat, give the SCPistol a charge-shot.
- if ever heavy Amarr weapons are to be rolled out, their overheating will be a serious issue for heavies,
making this general Amarr suit buns the more important.

ScP charge shot? I guess that would be about 300 damage - 300 x 4 = 1200 headshot damage.

My proposal is reasonable given bolt pistols to compete with. The charge
shot for the SCP would simply replicate the same relation to BP
as SCR does have to TacAR. |
