Everything (nearly, except for PvE) that has been said will be in Legion has been coming to DUST. Example, the missions. I saw those back in FF2014 (I dissected each and every frame of Legion gameplay). Back then, we didn't have missions. Also, we're getting blueprint prototype suits, just something to dabble with thus far. We have a kind-of market with player trading on the horizon. We are gonna have warbarges, PC 3.0(ish?) is coming soon, many revisions to that. I keep saying it, but no one says anything. They don't even shoot it down or acknolwedge it. Donno why.
Either A) Legion is shut Down, and they're porting the content to DUST as best as possible.
B) They're porting everything they have on Legion thus far that works to DUST so that the two games can integrate and be cross platform.
C) They're porting everything from Legion to DUST so that the character migration will be seemless and all features in Legion will make sense and we'll understand it.
or D)... Other.
or E) Both products will stay alive... but to what end?
Footnote: We're also getting more maps and more planet types. Though, I don't recall 'Toxic' as a planet type in EVE Online. If so, I wanna find it so I can put PI on it and make drugs.

Moods like "Toxic" aren't really a planet type. All the planets are still temperate at this time. I'd like to hope different planet types would include gameplay changes in addition to mere cosmetic changes. Toxic might be on a temperate planet where they have a weird freak storm or an industrial accident has polluted the area.
Legion is still a project at CCP.

Never said for certain that it wasn't. Was just making speculation as to the connection between the content that we saw in the Legion reveal, and the content we saw bring released on dust. You still pushing for more communication from ccp to the dust community in regards to what's going on with legion?

I remember a socket featured in the Legion pres. was later in Dust, forgot what it was called...My question is how much does Dust influence Legion. Alot of balancing stuff might help Legion, I am just not sure what could translate over.
Don't think about that, think about all the money.

Always. We strongly encourage CCP to be as open as possible throughout all stages of the project. Though I do now have somewhat of a greater understanding why they say they are not ready yet.

Can u share that understanding? That normally means they are going to do somthing that pisses of a lot of people.
A really vuage answer like in pre production still counts as somthing

D) Dust is being used as a pre-alpha to test And finetune proposed features for Legion. We are the hamsters in a bloody battle arena being watched by our overlords.

I imagine that by the time Dust is ready to be turned off much of the game play will be what we get from Legion...
Legion will then have extra bits added to give more depth and be the 'next evolution' we heard about perhaps it will be the equivalent of Dust 3.0 since we should be getting Dust 2.0 soon.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)
