I think Apex suits are overpriced
While there are some Apex suits that are useful, I think in general you could buy a bunch proto l.p. suits and be much better off.
I suggest reducing the cost of Apex suits by 15% after each purchase.
This 15% reduction is relative to each racial loyalty store ( so gallente is not reduced if you purchase a minmatar suit)
I think this is a good way to incentivise buying more than one, especially if you already bought one and feel you got burned or if you are hesitant because of a suits dubious layout
Thoughts?

I don't like this idea. It will reduce the value of the APEX suits in regards to that feeling of accomplishment of getting them.

Exactly why I came up with this suggestion.
It's really the loyalty points that are the problem. Even if you win every match you can get burnt out pretty quickly.
So at a 15% reduction in l.p. you be looking at
1st suit 100K
2nd 85K
3rd 72,250
4th 61,412
5th 52,200
It's only 129,138 less than it would be to get all 5 now but it would help reduce the grind |

Ha no. It's hard enough finding amarr qsyncs already. There'd be hardly any if it was anything more than 100k, which just makes it harder to get the suit :/ I don't even want to think about caldari @_@

The biggest problem for a newb to obtain an APEX suit is the grind. The less skillpoints you have, the more worthless you are during a game mode described as PC-lite. Obtaining isk is simple enough, but trying to be competitive with anything less than 5 million sp (I'm guessing at the amount of sp required to be competitive at FW) where you have to bring your A game? no thanks |

Without any boosters and ranked level 1, it took me about a week or so to get my Tiger scout. Min FW is usually insanely easy. Maybe it has changed since almost everyone has the Tiger scout haha

An interesting thing most players tend to ignore is that you aren't getting "just a BPO suit".
You're also getting:
-BPO modules
-BPO weapon(s)
AND
-BPO equipment
If you add up the combined cost of the whole package it's actually a steal.
Seeing as those individual BPO modules/gear never had ISK equivalents,it's a fantastic value.

new players, or any folk less that 15 million sp shouldn't even attempt the apex; they are even more trash if you have zero sp invested in your cores and the other weps/equipment they come with. |
