I haven't been on in about a month but when I got on I noticed there where standard and militia variant specialty weapons (ACR, AScR and ARR). me being the gallente tech person I am was exited but then didn't notice standard variant TAR or BRSAR which kinda ticked me off because I love using them both.
No I am fine with the magazine changes to ARs and quite content with how the AR is falling into place on the battlefield as a multiple target carbine. But I kinda wish that there were atleast standard variant TAR and BRSAR. Anyone else agree?
I am aware I am not backing this up with much logic, but I think it's only fair to make every racial variant weapon accessible if you made others accessible.

Definitely. Need standard Burst HMG and Assault MD, too (any others?). Doesn't make sense being forced to run 20k variants on otherwise standard fittings.

I agree. I don't know why gallente is only recently getting help with there weapon variants. The assault HMG needs some help because it is pretty terrible.

I was watching some old videos yesterday, realized we actually had more of these variants at Standard back in the day than I'd remembered! We need:
Tactical AR - Had it. Burst AR - Had it.
Assault SMG - Had it. Burst SMG - There was a Freedom Burst SMG at some point in closed beta, can't remember if there was Standard/Adv.
Assault Forge - Had it.
Assault MD - Don't remember having it.
Burst SCP at Standard and Pro - Had Standard, can't remember if we ever had Pro. Breach SCP at Pro - Can't recall it being on the market, but something is telling me I saw one in a match at some point, maybe an Imperial? Swear there used to be a Specialist and the IA5 Tac available on the market, too.
Burst HMG - Don't recall having one, but I didn't use HMG until about a year ago.
Specialist Shotgun - Had it, might not really be a priority, but there's Adv/Pro Specialists so we need it back for consistency!
Breach Flaylock at Adv/Pro - Don't think we've ever had them.
Charge Sniper at Std/Adv - With the whole :Rail tech charge up" thing, it really should be the default sniper variant, imo, and should be represented at all levels. Pretty sure it wasn't Pro-only when I first started playing, as I tried it out on or around the first day and I know I didn't have Pro + Proficiency Snipers.
Anything else? Most we've already had, just need reintroduction with appropriately tweaked numbers. Only a couple would have to be created "from scratch", and even then, it'd just be a "subtractive" name and numbers, more or less. More standard level variants would make the game for low SP/poor/cheap players much more diverse, increasing flexibility and the ability to experiment at a lower meta, while the other missing variants would help normalize progression for existing variants, both good things.

I would also love to see the camera sight back on the scoped AR's. Pretty please?

I'm mostly behind that, with a little refinement. The current scope has both too small an aperture and too bulky a body. Feels terribly awkward and constricted compared to the CR scope or ScR sight.
