I only use two -- both proto. The 200m/90deg Flux and the low-dB Focused.

If I can only hold one, I typically will pull out the Flux -- then if a particularly problematic scout shows up, I'll go to the focused.....until he dampenes up, then it's back to the 200m Flux.

So, my answer is 200m/90deg Flux FTW.

Creodron Flux Scanner and the Federation Duvolle Active Scanner.

The Fed. Duvolle one gives you 125 Meters of scan and the Creodron gives you 200 meters of scan.

I can't remember right off the bat since I'm away from my counsel but I use 2 different scanner depending if I'm using advance or proto gear. At proto I use the proximity scanner which scnas for 10 seconds but takes like 20 to cool down. With the gallente logi bonus you only have about 5 seconds of not being able to scan. On advance I also use a short duration model but, I can't remember the name. Again, the idea is to be able to scan as often as possible.

In regards to detecting scouts. I'm not too worry about it. The price and resource necessary to scan well dampened scout is too high vs the return on investment. I don't need to be able to scan 100% of the people. I'm happy with the 90 to 95%. A well dampened scout can be countered by communicating with the rest of the team. Once everybody knows that he is around then its a matter of keeping your eyes open.

Now that I remember I used to use the A-45 in the advance logi suit. This one (I think is this one) gives you like 15 seconds of scan with the gallente logi bonus. It is great for when you need to throw an orbital. The catch is that sometimes you scan and you don't detect anybody and waiting 20 seconds for the cool down is a bit too much.

Opinion: Creodron Flux is the all-around best performer, with the Creodron a close runner up. A/19 performs very well for its fitting requirements.

STD: Vanilla, but they all perform poorly due to unskilled mediums being able to dodge them.

 ADV: Quantum

PRO: Flux is arguably the best. For anti-scout, I use the Focused, but I rarely have to rely on it because no one damps anymore. The other variants are nice, but they each have their own uses (except the Vanilla).

My logi currently has all three of the advanced ones equipped. Looking forward to the day when I get around to unlocking the proto scanners, as that 200m range looks awfully nice paired up with the Gallente suit bonus.
