ok so ive tryed to use the revive tools but i seem to run into a few problems.
-i dont know who is down and where they are down at, or how long they have been down for.
thoes 3 problems leave me running around the battle field lookn like a tard running with a giant purple/white push pop lookn sirenge in my hand.
ive been told that they work but i havent been able to even try it yet because i cant find anyone to res...
please help....

The icon totally changes from an arrow to a solid triangle when someone is down. I am pretty sure it shows up on minimap but I could be wrong about this.
Wish already granted?
As long as you communicate on voicecomms, it's easy to revive. I was spamming it earlier today. |

What the need to do is allow people with the ability to revive to quickly see who is downed in the area. Also, those who are downed should be given an indicator with a distance on the people around them with the ability to revive. If Im laying on the ground and can see that there is a medic 20m away, I'll wait for the revive, but if I can see they're 200m away I know not to waste my time and just bleed out. |

I have the same problem. Everyone bleeds out really quick too because they figure no one will try to revive them. It's hard to even locate downed teamates much less get to them in time to use the nanite injector. |

good post. anyone else find it ironic our UI gets spammed with everything else but we cant see down teammate indicators?

plus i cant turn my camera around to see if sum one is near to pick me up and if they are in a gun fight, and be able to see how long b4 i actually bleedout

not to mention the incentive to ress sum one, its 10pts for a ress in mag 5pts for a kill.

Definately need some better indicator to show whether it is a teammate or an enemy, need more points for rezing, and also need people to not tap out as soon as possible...more people are trying to rez but too many downed teammates just tap out to respawn instead of waiting a few seconds if they are blues next to them... |

The solution to people choosing to respawn quickly is to stop making people choose between respawning and trying to be revived.
From the time you go down to the time you respawn you should be able to be revived (unless an enemy finishes you off).
Player dies. There's an indicator in the corner showing the distance to the nearest medic, it glimmers or something when they've actually got the revive stick out. Player choose a respawn location Player chooses a new dropsuit Medic uses the revive stick 10 second countdown starts (I dislike the fact this is after you've chosen and not while you're choosing) Player gets a popup in the corner that says "Press R2 to revive on the battlefield" Player can choose this right up until they spawn.
Either that or give players a reason not to die right away, perhaps allowing them to do something useful - either give them a chance to sometimes get back up, or give them the ability to fire something, or whatever. But don't make it a mostly pointless waste of time you could be starting the 10 sec counter in. |

I agree that something should be added for the player to do. Calling for a medic on comms is one thing, but doing something in-game is much better for the player. Personally, I think the idea of healing downed players in the battlefield is almost pointless seeing how fast paced the gameplay is. The "tactical" nature of the game is completely overshadowed by the mad dash to the objective that everyone makes. No one waits to rally and move out in force, or any of the other things that make a "tactical shooter" tactical. Once Corps are introduced, that should change.
You have to remember that for the countdown timer, that timer is your consciousness being downloaded into a clone, as well as that clone being fitted out with gear and weapons. Obviously, this cannot happen until you have chosen which clone you want to use ;) |

What if you had an option where while bleeding out you can call out to a medic. This will put a dot on the medics nav. Also if you can give the medic the option to respond that would be great so the downed team member would know someone is coming. |

that lead to nearly everyone in MAG using a revive tool wich honestly wasnt a bad thing |
