Here is my interview with Random Gunz leadership. If you enjoy the video and/or want to see more videos of this nature, please do not hesitate to drop a like or subscribe. I am still getting started and everything helps. Speaking of help, comments and feedback of any sort is much appreciated. If there are things you think I need to improve on or things I should start doing, let me know. Thanks.

Another good interview. One piece of constructive criticism: Get rid of the echo! Make the offending party go PTT. |

My only suggestion. Video portion is boring. Either play a game while chatting, edit in some footage of some sort or do the interviews in PSN video chat so we can see the men behind the dropsuits.
They call me "Mr. Vacation"...
I used to be relevant, but I learned to delegate so I could island hop

Well, the snoring in the background can be blamed on Therm's dog. It has been said that we can't win a battle without the little guy, so I guess it was only fair he made an appearance.

Dust User attitude? You better call NASA to get on my level, son.
Also, it has been confirmed Therm Sperm has a walrus in his bedroom. |

I agree that the visual part is not too stimulating. However, since I'm listening on my computer, I just open another browser tab and watch dust gameplay videos with the sound muted in order to hear Silver's interview in the first tab.
Side note: I just discovered theki3's (Nyain San) youtube channel. I'm flabbergasted at how guys like him can be such prolific killers when they don't really strafe and mostly ADS. Is it the proto weapons and gear? Skill levels? Internet? They play the game the way I visualize it should be played but that way never works for me. |

Yeah, I will probably try playing a game during the next interview and find out if its as distracting as I think it would be.

Personally, I would have a difficult time with this sort of multi-tasking. I have seen dust gameplay videos, though, where there was an interview done during the play (Pyrex did one with Judge and CCP Sabrewing some time ago) or where squad chat was captured and the guys in squad nattered on about stuff unrelated to the match.
But, as an alternative and if time permits, you could run a few matches with the interviewees and see how it goes and have a back up plan to conduct the interview in the format used previously. Then, if necessary, you could overlay the post play interview audio over the gameplay video. This is assuming, of course, that your capture set up is capable of doing this sort of recording.

I believe it is possible for me to put seperate audio over video, but what you suggested would require me to take up a lot more time of the people I interview which I dont really want to do. Maybe I will just put the audio over gameplay I recorded by myself beforehand.

Good plan. My original thought anyways, but it seemed like some people wanted to see the interviewees playing. This is a good compromise, I think. |
