Still waiting on replies from: Molon Labe Mu-La Random Gunz Red* Eternal Beings Skill of God Anyone else interested. "x" , it would be better a 2vs2 imo That's an interesting idea, and would probably make for far more entertaining footage at least. I'll get the input of the tankers involved when we go over what is expected/what restrictions need to be in place, and if they overwhelmingly agree with the notion than so be it, but I suspect it will probably play out easier for a first try at putting this together if we keep to 1v1's. The logistics of it gets harder the more faces are added, having to get 4 specific tankers to all meet up at the same time as well as get silver in there to record, and on top of that get someone to lock a district ahead of time on an appropriate timer.... I'm thinking that could turn into a mess. it depends from where are we from, than i repeat, 1vs1 will always win the better connection more than the best tanker, 2vs2 you need to be strategyc and co-operate with your friend, in a PC is important teamwork and maybe you can no more spider-tanking but i ve already experienced that some players dont take damage due to connection issues. Finally this thing would be great one year ago when there were real tanks and real tankers as sir meode, kasumi, djouck, vanguard alpha etc... Now its a bit senseless All i know and remember that the best tankers in these game where slap, maple, zitro, metro, the legend, mj420, doc holiday and many other but those were on top of my head. These guys were top cb and pc players not just pub stompers. i play on EU server and the only tanker i met in your list is Doc , i was pretty sure that there were more tankers...

Poncho Polous wrote:I've always thought that one of my corps tankers who I've played with for ever, Lafayette Adair was one of the better tankers in the game. However, I'm pretty sure that most corps think that of their #1 tankers too. There's even some self proclaimed tank legends such as Maximus Mobius. With all of that in mind, I will be putting together a tournament bracket (collaborating with Silver Strike44 to record the 1v1's all the way through) for tankers to 1v1 their way up the ladder for the prospect of an ISK prize (minimum 50M-100M ISK, potentially more if there is enough interest to add an entry fee). I have not yet thought out how I will structure the ISK of it, but I will subsidize a percentage of the prize from my own wallet, as well as possibly add a small ISK entry fee to be added to the pool, depending on if there's any interest from the tankers in here. I will NOT be taking any percentage of anything to take for myself, all ISK transfers will be made public knowledge - this is purely for the entertainment value of some competitive fun, and to provide incentive to take part.
Layout will be a traditional 1v1 pyramid tournamet bracket using a tournament generator to decide who matches who.
Battles will take place in closed district matches including only the uploader, the participants and possibly myself allowed in the match.
If you have any interest, reply here or in game and I will add you to the list. Additionally, if you know of a tanker you would like to see fight, write their name here and I will add them in if I'm able to contact them.
Once I see if there is any interest in this, and how much there is, I will post up an official bracket with names, and begin recording and uploading the 1v1's.
Thank you.
NEAT! May the best targe... errr tanker win!
