Birmingham (the British city, not the American mockery) is 100% Muslim, where extremist Islam laws are enforced and non-Muslims simply do not go.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

This is not a genuine thing.
It was attempted a couple of times, idiots put up posters, people got arrested, Anjem Choudary applauded them, and Americans declared entire cities to be caliphates.

I doubt that is reason to vote UKIP into power...... their internal policies might be ******* daft. I mean the NZ government isn't ideally the one I would have liked to vote for but there were the only one that didn't propose to "balls the ******* country up."
Though those nations that did go into economic crisis were unable to meet the obligations to the Union am I not correct? And were thusly floated by the emergency economic packages in place by the Union to aid in such times right?

Those stimulus packages didn't help the people of the country though. Remaining in the EU, such countries will continue to degregate economically. The EU also enforces country wide laws that each country should dictate and vote on themselves.

They shouldn't, which is why the EU needs to dissolve, Germany and France are keeping the EU going, that's it.
Also, to an earlier question in the thread. I'm not from bongistan (the UK) nor would I ever want to live in such a political crap hole.

? how does debasing your currency help?
it results in higher prices, so it directly taxes the people-in the end will be offset by higher interest rates.
Keynsian economics is broken theory. entrusting government with investment is foolish. Politicians are those that have failed in the private sector. |

We have the highest violent crime because we define violent crime as violent crime.
The FBI define violent crime as murder, forcible ****, robbery, and aggravated assault.
The British Home Office, by contrast, has a substantially different definition of violent crime. The British definition includes all GÇ£crimes against the person,GÇ¥ including simple assaults, all robberies, and all GÇ£sexual offenses,GÇ¥ as opposed to the FBI, which only counts aggravated assaults and GÇ£forcible rapes.GÇ¥
Less than half of recorded violent crimes in the UK involve any injury whatsoever.
Do go ahead and keep looking at statistics without understanding them. Meanwhile, your murder rate is four times higher than ours... lol

Sounds good. The point is we have less restrictions, we have more freedom. Our government doesn't treat us like children. The ban on the production of pornography in the UK may have been a bit pointless, people can still watch it though, you'd hardly lose any 'Freedom' from it though.
The one reason knives are recognised as a weapon is because they're the 'Next best thing' after a gun. The right to own firearms is hardly anything to be happy about, at least if someone threatens me with a knife I've a better chance of fighting back and a much better chance of getting away. Sure, we may sacrifice some 'Freedom' but it's a safer environment because of it. It's a fair trade.

But its literally not 'safer'. The Swiss have one of the highest rate of gun ownership per person and has one of the lowest violent crime rate witha gun in the world. Guns do not cause violence. Knives don't cause violence. Violent people cause it.

Beacause, sure, in North America, registered fire arms are genereally not the problematic ones. The issue is with how unbelievably easy it is to obain one illegally.

That's a size problem, its hard to control the borders with how large they are.

That's a size problem, its hard to control the borders with how large they are. This is even more true when you consider that the UK is an island, with only 1 road going in or out. And that road is underwater. Smuggling firearms there is much more difficult because of this.
The US on the other hand, is bordered by Mexico, to the south. The guns and drugs smuggling trade between the US and Mexico is pretty much famous for its size and wealth.
Also, by making something illegal, especially when it is something that the general populace wants, its demand on the black market grows. When demand on the black market grows, the black market grows. If the black market grows, criminals have even better access to illegal items.
Look at marijaina control over here. Despite it being illegal, it is just as easy if not easier to obtain than cigarettes or alcohol for minors.

1. Birmingham is a shithole, so is most of the country and Yorkshire is full of em but London is lost
2. They have tried to enforce sharia law in some places like in London
3. Why do they leave countries with sharia law and move to somewhere totally different and try to put sharia law in place?
4. EU seems to be falling apart anyways with 3rd world countries joining
5. UKIP can be seen as a protest vote because the tories lie, labour lets in immigrants and lib dems also lie or westminster establishment parties |

Which is interesting because NZ outlaws fire arms and has unarmed police.
As such the amount of fire arms related crimes is rather low and almost surprising when reported on the news. Still that doesn't stop you occasionally driving about and seeing a bunch of Armed Offenders with M4's.....

I prefer the melting pot myself...Sadly, America has always been ambivalent about being a nation of immigrants....Since the country's founding, each successive wave of immigrants has been seen as dirty, uneducated, unwilling to assimilate, etc. by the rest of America, only to settle in and decry the next wave of immigrants. To illustrate this, can anyone think bad thoughts about folks of Germanic descent? Aside from, y'know, the obvious? There was a time when the German population were seen as less-than American especially during World War I. Schools stopped teaching German and foods like hamburgers and frankfurters were renamed "Salisbury steak" and "hot dogs" (the last name stuck). Fortunately I don't live in places like France where in in the suburbs around Paris where the police will stop you if you are colored due to immigration policies, they seem to really hate the police over there.
Don't think about that, think about all the money.

Not a great deal ignore gun laws in New Zealand. Would make it harder for most criminals to conduct most forms of minor crime if the police stepped up to carrying fire arms on the hip.
No suggesting that's a causative relationship but no one wants to deal with an increase of fire arms on the streets.
