i think it was the dual screen netflix going on but i just hopped off and pretty much wasted an active booster and 1m passive SP investment as it was like a ******* SLIDESHOW just now!!! I literally couldn't tell where I was.

Quite the opposite, I hang around just to watch the **** show that is these forums.
Maybe some day this game will be brought up to speed, but its not any time soon, and ive burnt through all my hope for this game over the past couple years

Lol, I hate the game, but some things I like. I stay because of EVE and what has been developed about this game world as well as hope for better future development.
Most of this game sadly sucks rhinos.

I can live with almost every bug or unfinished feature.
But... The client lag kills the immersion.
It makes one feel so powerless, like you don't control yourself.
The moment of enlightenment for me was when I realised that I do not rage (nearly as much=) if I get killed while having good framerate. Under low fps... Veins burst on forehead, feels that I was denied a fair chance.
Yes yes, it is possible or even likely that the opponent suffered from low fps as well - but the point is the feeling you get.
Well here it is. I created a QQ thread.
I QQ the framerate.

Go play another game and do other things if you don't enjoy playing Dust anymore. Maybe when you'll come back to it you'll like it more as you'd be less involved in it so you wouldn't care about all the little bugs and unbalanced stuffs it has.

Actually HAD a break, exactly a year ago. Was away for 1-2 months (in order to play minecraft and eve. Naturally I afk capped all chars during that time.).
Can't bear to play my old favourites, UT of HL, because then the framerate would absolutely burn brains.

Dust is really addictive, but once you find something else, you really just dont care about it anymore (pretty much like everything else in life^^).

This exactly, i've tried countless times to voice this issue since MPT but there was always an excuse, "it's a beta!". Almost three years later and we still get games with 5 fps and we are left with nothing but a player base of apologists and outliers.
The worst is when my whole squad is having frame issues in the Gallante Lag Facility, but one guy says, "I'm not having any problems, i'm fine". Then I have to hold his hand explain in great detail that what he is seeing on screen are frame rate issues, which directly affects inputs.
"Oh yeah, but it's not that big of a deal..."
