During the closed beta we enjoyed scrubbery till no tommorrow like sitting with dropships on top of towers or use RE's like frisbees and tanks where the most OP thing ever created.
But Dust never changes...
The rage and blessing induced by nerfs and buffs went on alot of nerves but scrubbery will find allways its way to the players. Bugs and glitches where common like flies on a fresh turd but we stayed at this game cause we had trust in CCP.
Then at the Eve fanfest 2014 we experienced a apocalyptic "keynote" which seemed to mark the end of Dust514. But from that apocalypse a new age arised of scrubs and Sp influx insanity.
Some vets found shelter in decent corps to protect them from the "new age scrubs" protecting them from P2W with huge amounts of ISK as a bolster.
Now in 2015 life in Dust514 is about to change SOONGäó

Dust. Dust never changes.
The end of Dust ocurred pretty much as we had predicted. Too many scrubs, not enough districts or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always purely CCP ones.
Dust 514 was nearly wiped clean of skill. A great cleansing, a troll spark struck by CCP hands, quickly raged out of control. Spears of flame posts reigned on the forums, corporations were swallowed in flame and fell into total scrubbery, playerbase was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background scrubbyness that blankened dust 514
A quiet darkness fell across the battlefield, lasting many months. Few survived the devastation. Some had been fortunate enough to get accepted into decent corps, taking shelter by great corp wallets. When the great darkness passed, 1.9 arrived, and the scrubs emerged to begin their scrubbening again. |
