Anyone got numbers on the optimal and effective CR ranges with and without sharpshooter 5?

Others, above, are correct: Sharpshooter affects dispersion, not range.
That said, the range for the CR is a little more than the AR and a little less than the RR??? Something like 60m. |

Found it! Here's the thread that shows them.
It appears as if the different CR variants have an optimal range out to between 51 and 67m and an effective range out to between 70 and 84m.
FWIW, I mostly die to them at ranges less than 70m, which is what led me to guess 60m two posts above. |

Which is FUC**** BS considering is a ''CR'' / MEd range weapon.
CR/HMG need a serious RANGE nerf....

Leadfoot, that spreadsheet info is incorrect (for the most part) as the ranges for all guns were normalized along each of the variants tier (ie all Normal CRs have 67m).
And to KING, if you want to nerf the CR's range on the premise that it's a mid-range weapon than you'll have to nerf the SCR range as well since it too is a mid-range weapon yet has more range than the CR.

Because
SCR: Pulse is Med-Long CR: Projectile is MEd AR: Blaster is MEd CLose RR: Rail which is Long
TO MY UNDERSTANDING.
But a CR user winning fights vs SCR and RR at longer ranges is Bullcrp.
OR
You guys could keep the RANGE and have a Damage profile of -10% shields +10% Armor. But you cant have it all, Rof,Damage profile, range,(best) fitting requirements ,etc...
