can we make them slightly better than the regular items? I mean they are faction items. it makes no sense that faction navies would offer the same equipment regular mercs can get off the market.
can we make an overall theme that faction items are better than regular items?
Example:
a Standard Federation AR would be better than a regular Standard AR, but not as good as a regular Advanced AR.
currently, damage progresses by 10% between standard and advanced and then advanced and prototype.
the faction weapons could be 5% better than their counterparts leaving a faction prototype weapon with 5% more damage.
The same thing could be done for modules. Make faction modules slightly better. This way the demand for them will cause players to move to faction warfare, which is designed to be an ISK sink anyways, but now we'd had tangible benefits for participating. |

Nope.
LP are just better than isks to buy Proto suits/guns/Large missile turrets.
Ps. Best eqiupments in game for each race are for lp.

I know there's a proto LP needle in the Caldari store, it revives 100% armor.

The amarr viziam links are better than anything u can buy with isk
There's the minmatar republic boundless rep tool which is the best in the game
Caldari has the best hives, needles and swarm launchers
Don't use anything gallente so idk about that without looking...
There's other stuff too so idk what you're talking about

They're cheaper and require less skill too use than their isk counterparts. They're already better. |

The Active Scanner lacks compared to the Focused, but it's better than the vanilla proto. We have a proto Plasma Cannon that goes for the same CPU as the KLA, though :D gotta love specialist weapons (I, also, have Fitting Optimization, so it's basically pretty easy to fit). |

Only equipment worth getting is amarr links and 100% needle. Gallente only has scanners and they arent any better than the normal ones.
I can use aurum to buy proto gear and use that at level 3.
Last point is the only one i agree with, the cost for what you can get is amazing however, Faction items should all be better than the equivalent version that requires isk. Only specialist weapons are better, which i feel is wrong. |

republic ACR had 59% accuracy over 54% of the 'civilian' version and federation breach has 58.10 damage over 58.0. they're the only 2 i noticed had differences so far but its abou ttime we saw some specialized LP stuff with slight better stats

I mean to include modules as well.
also, i have proto rifles already and my fitting skills are maxed out, theres nothing i can do where using a specialist would be preferred. The cheaper cost doesnt offset the fact that i can run isk positive now in proto anyways, and having to grind FW with zero ISK gains actually means it worse for me to try and get them.
vets have no reason for them. thats why they need to be better. the equipment that was mentioned are examples that should be extended to more items, including weapons, dropsuits and modules. |

the specialist scanner thingy has 125m range instead 100m i believe. not sure about the precision or other stats without lookign but i know the range was slightly better
