Step 1.) Nerf HMG to 600ish DPS via a RoF Nerf. If heavies want an Instagank Cannon, they can get some player skill and start using a Forge Gun. An added side effect of this Nerf would be reduced heat buildup and increased ammo efficiency, so HMGs would become more inclined for suppression and extended point defense than instaganking.
Huey the Heavy says,
"If HMGs were like that, I'd just use Light Weapons!!!!!"
Shut you goddamn mouth Huey, no you won't. I've got that covered as well, ******.
Step 2.) Make Light Weapons Kick/Recoil 200% more when used on a Non-Commando Heavy frame. This way, Heavy weapons will continue to be the best choice on heavy suits, without HMGs being supremely OP.

The solution to OP heavies is not necessarily less DPS on the HMG, but rather their inherent HP and resistances.
IMO of course. |

someone had the idea of taking a heavy's ability to kill people away and making them completely suppresive
idk how it would turn out but I'm ******* sure that all the heavies would cry

Another Nerf something that's only good at one thing thread. Once you get heavies nerfed BACK into uselessness. What's next? Minmatar scouts like myself? All people want to do is Nerf everything. But what do I know I only have 10mil sp. |
