It's actually a bit disappointing that the drop rate on keys is so low.
I think I may start tracking my salvage to see how often things drop.

Yesterday on of my daily missions had a reward of TWO KEYS for winning 10 battles- YIPPEE! I immediately opened two corresponding boxes and received one M/1 medium frame and 50 A/1 Commandos (not skilled, don't intend to skill but at least I will get 35% of their value in ISK with that hoe in my MQ)- NOT SO YIPPEE...
Be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.

Oh these two keys got me 32 ADV SMG's, and 58 "Neo" Commando G-1 suits. Seems normal.

Your lucky , most of mines ... you have to activate 2 or 3 instant boosters or activate 2 or 3 regular boosters .
Might as well buy keys if it's like that .
I just don't like when I have to activate a booster for a key or another booster .
What's the point of that ?

Well before both the pictures in this thread, I hadn't ever gotten an EOM key. Usually, they're from "Kill 39 enemies" or my hardest one yet, "Earn 144,999 Skillpoints in a single day" doing that without any boosters and non-logi was frikkin horrible.
