And i really hate scouting, i die all the time and its not a good time. BUT i pulled this thing out and actually went positive. I like the knives and the magsec is great for close to mid range. I want to know from some of the scouts i hate if this is any good. I usually don't run cloak but this time I gave in. The REs are for rigging objectives and the occasional tank, not frisbee. I use to use flux on all my scouts and logis and is used for equipment destruction and taking shield down for the knives. Mikel Arias Challengers 506 52	Posted - 2015.01.09 02:26:00 - [3] - Quote Just my opinion, a scout, if not minmatar but gallente, should use a shotgun, not the knives, just to be sure to kill the target fast (and easier to hit with the shotgun or maybe Im not that good with knives). The magsec is great in mid range. I would also change the codebreaker for another dampener, so you can sneak behind your target or hide. The extra shield I dont think would really make the difference, so maybe a damage modifier?

General Tso's Alliance 2760	Posted - 2015.01.09 02:34:00 - [5] - Quote In my experience, 1 Enh codebreaker doesn't help much (the fit says it goes from 1.3-1.5), and while it helps a bit, I think a different mod would help better. Since you're running knives, a KinCat would really help, but another damp would work if they have strong scans or even another ferroscale if you see fit. The precision enhancer is nice with your bonus, but keep in mind you still won't scan most dampened scouts and your usable range is only 15m. I'd personally use another shield extender or a sidearm damage mod. Dust is there! I was real! Dear diary, Rattati senpai noticed me today~

The extra shield I dont think would really make the difference, so maybe a damage modifier? never thought of a damage mod, good idea, it can effect both my weapons. i use a modified version of the scout shown because i don't have the scout 5 bonus. Im experimenting using the codebreaker to quickly counter hack while defending and i haven't been scanned yet at 23db. With my hacking skills its 30% faster hack and paired with a buddy for a counter hack can speed it up a lot. I love the gallente scout, its a great way to kill people, but if what you want is to hack and knife some clones, the minmatar is what you want. Lately I have trying to learn to use it right, and well, its true that its a lot of fun to kill people with the knifes.

You're just not that good with the knives. I can wreck people with knives but I can't hit the broad side of a barn at point blank range with a shotgun even if my life depended on it.
