The design intent of this item is to promote tactical gameplay by involving your entire team in the match, and to give another useful equipment that can help your team win.

So, what does it do?

Great question! Glad you asked. The blueberry grapple (BG for short), is a small tool that goes into your equipment slot, with CPU/PG costs approximately equal to the remote explosive. The tool functions very similarly to the rep tool in that it locks onto other players. Once locked on, one simply has to press L1 and the blueberry you are targeting is pulled to your location. Holding down L1 would allow you to move while still holding the blueberry.

But Gav, this tool seems ridiculous! How does it actually help the team?

Wow, great questions, keep them coming! Of course, the tool itself only functions on certain types of players, just so that it can be balanced. Any players carrying a sniper rifle sitting in the redline or on top of a tower are fair game, so that we can get them to join the fight and contribute. In addition, any blueberries that are shooting their feet, trying to achieve maximum spins per second, or are walking in the open while crouched can be targeted as well.

What this does: This allows players who know what they are doing to tactically use the resources available to them in new, tactical and creative ways. The blueberries can be dragged from the redline and forced to contribute, or can make their contribution simply as a meat shield, because not everybody knows how to press R1.

This tool would only be usable by people who have won at least one PC match, and cannot target any blueberries who have won at least one as well, unless the blueberry is using a sniper rifle, in which case, **** them and use them as a meat shield.
