Hello mercs, maybe it is just me but trying to find a sqaud with more than three players using mics is hit or miss. I don't look at just proto sqauds but a any group that wants to try and have a little fun.I send lfs in numerous chats but it appears that many runsolo or have tight little clicks.I know spam away with get good, go to another Corp, bake cookies, shave my arse and walk backwards, maybe it is the times I'm on. |

Try the channel 'Highland Pride'. They are a welcoming group who encourage the use of mics. |

this has to be a troll you are in one of the largest alliance if not the largest and you cant find a squad? I'll send you a kitty next time im running laps in matches for isk since it takes two guns+ to kill anything anymore.

Maybe its the time im on (usually around 7:00 -10:00 pm Stand Eastern).Many of the sqauds from the alliance tend to be locked,i will put lfs in a half dozen chats.I myself do enjoy running Dom. but will go any other route as long as we have the right sqaud. Have had sqauds where they were lone wolfs, Sqaud leads with no mics,etc.which makes it more difficult to be an efficient team. |

Maybe it's because like me, other people in the EU TZ don't have mics and live in shared houses where screaming at a TV in the late hours because bluebs fail hard at fw isn't acceptable

I'm guilty, I squad often but don't use my mic because I'm generally listening to music. I try and keep an eye out for greens and follow squad orders.

DUST 514 supports ingame music. Load some music on your PS3 and listen in your headset while using the mic to communicate. Problem solved.

I don't bust my mic out unless I'm called in as a ringer for PC because of a few things:
1. I have a 12 month old girl that screams and pulls on everything (I use a wired mic) and I do not want to cause to much background noise.
2. Because of my daughter, we constantly have the Wiggles playing in the background when she's home from daycare and is just chilling in baby prison. I love Captain Feathersword.
3. I have a 4 year old that constantly asks questions.
4. Because of douches that swear and curse all the time I cannot even have comms on while the kids are up due to their sensitive ears and sponge like brains.
