So does anyone else find it suspicious that the supposed terrorists leave ID just lying around in a car they hijacked?
I hate to jump to conclusions but this event already seems fishy.

But I did notice on some of my news feeds from AP and BBC that police have had confrontations with people while looking for the claimed terrorists...
Something is up... I'd like to hear from someone who lives there for their point of view...

I'm not sure to be honest. I know that they had a lot of problems in the past, they were firebombed only a year or two ago so I totally 'get' the anger towards them (of course I despise what the terrorists they have done). Its just no matter how dumb the terrorists were, it makes no sense as to why they would have ID in the car, considering the reports stated that they hijacked the car to begin with.
I cant for one minute believe that they would leave ID cards in a getaway vehicle.

Not all terrorists are smart. Have you ever considered the possibility that these knuckleheads are just that. Wanna be martyrs, with no thought out plan at all. Sometimes criminals do make stupid mistakes that get them caught. Not everything is a conspiracy or a frame up job.

I think they're just dumb, the whole thing was counter intuitive, I haven't met many people outside of France that knew what Charlie Hebdo was, now it's plastered all over the internet and is known practically everywhere across Europe. They were bound to get identified sooner or later, the ID just sped up the process.
Terrorists are just dumb assholes.

Good its healthy to have a thick skin, it is also healthy to question what you are told. Especially when the story is flaky.....
I become very disturbed when I think about the fact that not too many years ago my own government, as well as other European governments were financing and sending weapons to these same terrorists we are now 'scared of' in ISIS and other sects in the middle east.
At the very least our leaders are incompetent.

I'm not accepting the fact that it was accidental entirely, but I'm also not going to theorize until everything is completely over. Of course the news and leaders aren't going to give the full story, of course they're going to air the simplest story because we've barely got any information to go by.
The whole thing is barely over, once it's over and more evidence and information come to light then you can theorize and craft conspiracies all you want.
We simply haven't enough information to get a full story.

If everyone in the world was taught proper and unbiased, or realistically unbiased, history than we wouldn't have to deal with these things.
The hate and retribution of both sides comes from ignorance. As I see education improving (at least where I live) I hope the future is better. Stereotypes will be seen as simply jokes and not cruel representations as facts.

I do not accept anything. I also do not see a conspiracy behind everything either. Why don't you ask the family members and survivors of the incidents what their opinions are on whether or not these were just plain bad dudes. Most muslims and other folks of religious persuasions are just normal people. However, every form of faith including those without faith of some sort, has its share of whack jobs and extremists. |

Blasphemy laws were only removed in the UK in about 2008. But I dont think theyd actually been used for a long time prior to that.
As for the conspiracy theorists: are you satisfied now they've killed the terrorists and have bodies that match the IDs?
Maybe you should just accept that most terrorists are morons, and pretty much any mistake that can be made will be made. For instance, these guys actually stormed the wrong building at first [facepalm]. See also the guy who rammed Glasgow airport, who only managed to set himself on fire before getting kicked in the balls by a baggage handler. Then there's the 'pants bomber', who only managed to set his pants on fire. Idiots do idiotic stuff...

Media is always terrible when it comes to terrorism, they only ever cause it to be more effective, they'd rather focus on the killers themselves than the innocents that were affected by it.

Yeah, a lot of the media is pretty corrupt and tends to make things worse by spreading paranoia. I still watch the news to see what's going on, but I stop the second they bring on people to share their 'unviased' opinion.
