I know you guys (Support logis that is) are adapting to the whole bandwith thing right now but wouldn't using the few equipments that don't use bandwith be helpful to everyone too?
I mean as a scout I run stab sticks often, usually with REs but ya know Minja, it's really helpful to have a few guys picking up teamates.
I'm not saying to run into the middle of a battlefield to get a guy, and getting shot, but it benefits you both when you help a blue out if you can.
He keeps the gear (read:isk) you get the WP, everyone is happy no?
Same for rep tools.
Personally I love logibros, just wish I saw more of them helping out directly...there's a few bunny hops of appreciation for you if you stab a certain scout.

Only 5% of the player base asks to be picked up.
90% of that 5% are squadmates. |

I REFUSE to use a needle on my Logi with this STUPID.... STUPID needle change.
The Moments in squads across DUST where logi's have their needles out hovering over a squad mate all screaming "You have to push X!"
The amount of wasted clones that could have won matches because people just accidentally respawn.... Or they refuse to be picked up with Logi's and reps everywhere.
Needles should be -1 death from the person you pick up, If you Didn't loose a clone you didn't die.... There should be NO CHOICE about being picked up... The clone is the Teams not the individuals..
I Refuse to stand hovering over clones waiting for someone to press a button.
I Refuse to fit an equipment item that is only useful if someone decided to push a revive button.
I Have better things to be doing with my equipment slots and fitting limitations then fit a needle for the offchance that someone get's killed and feels like they want to be revived.
It is THE WORST... I mean the WORST... change in DUST so far. Aim assist and Scotty the matchmaker is arguably better then this change. |

I think it would be preferable if they could at some point change the needle mechanics to an accept of the revival instead of needing to call out for revival.
I am sure a significant percentage of those not asking for a needle would still accept the revive. Plus this would still prevent the infinite revival trolling.

Did you know your dead body still receives passive scans? When you're bleeding out, and in the over map, you can see if there's a fight near you and decide whether to be picked up or not. |

The only thing that is working as intended is that people get to loose more ISK for the sake of a very small group of people that wanted to make the choice themselves..
Not for a broken infinite revive scenario that CCP themselves created with a half finished mechanic that was complained about since beta nearly 3 years ago and nothing done about...
They could of just let you open your game menu and quit the match while this goes on... instead the game keeps reseting your screen. There are tons of ways CCP could of fixed their needle mechanic so infinite revival wasn't possible... It shouldn't be possible..
if your Dropsuit is Failing... and you loose all your shield and armor and they shoot the squishy bits? How many times should they be able to do that before the clones body is gone? Clones should have a health pool that get's burnt out...
And the Passive scan thing is kinda funny... We had a good deathscreen in Beta... and much of Uprising.. You could see your vision bluring as you bleed out and got a general sense of what was around you...
When you got picked up? It was instant and very quick... Animations worked quick you where back in control of your character quick and able to defend yourself.
Then we traded that for a Planetside 2 cheap rip off deathscreen information board that is broken and extremely inaccurate even with telling you what killed you.... The only sorta accurate information is who killed you and generally that was already displayed way better before. |

I run a nano injector on my mid-game assault fittings. I don't see quite as many people hit X in public contracts, but then again, I have seen blues needle people in the middle of a firefight just to have them instantly die over and over again in a terrible cycle of pain...

Well yeah, I would much prefer the Planetside 2 style.
But I always run a proto needle on my logi. Once poeple realize they're in good hands, they ask for revives a lot more.

I have two logi fits.
One is setup with faction stuff and it's only for PC. The pub one is almost identical, but with regular proto equipment and weapon.
1) Injector 2) Allotek Hive 3) Uplink 4) Rep tool
Low payouts ensure that only the best are running decent gear.
