Lately I have been left to wonder what it is that the other factions believe in as a culture and as a whole. Are there other religious denomination out there other than the Amarrian faith and its spinoffs? The Amarr's faith is such an integral part of the empire and their culture that it can be easily identified; but what about the Gallente, the Caldari, or the Minmatar? What do they believe in? Also since the eve universe is one in which all the races and factions have advanced to such high levels of scientific prowess and technology is there still room let for people to believe in the supernatural? Is there any devils, demons, or monsters that can go bump in the night?
Any lore help and support information you can provide or post a link to would be great. The dust/eve community has yet to let me down so thanks in advance to all of you that reply.
Feel free to expand the this thread to include your character's own personal beliefs and practices have fun with it. |

There's many religions that cover each corner of New Eden, and they have been detailed at least to some extent within EVElopedia, you just need to know where to look.
Prime example would be the Caldari's Way of the Winds, or simply The Way, a religion that is common among the Civire and Deteis population, and integrated heavily into the Caldari corporate life. The Achur part of Caldari also have their own religion.
The Gallente don't have any official religion, but rather let all the various religions and faith systems mix and mingle in their true multicultural fashion. The Intaki population have their own faith called the Ida, a religion largely based in cycles, especially that of death and rebirth. This philosophy is heavily integrated into the Intaki culture, and those who have been reborn are held in high regard as Idama.
For the Minmatar, there really isn't much to be found. Like with Gallente, there is no official nation-wide religion and every tribe has their own culture, habits, religions and whatnot. Speculation and artistic license can be applied here, but for a general rule of thumb, most tribal religions are all about worshiping ancestors, idols, animals and whatnot.
I used to have a blog where I wrote stuff about DUST, and people seemed to like it. Now, I can't even be bothered. Woo.
