Hello all. I have an idea.
How about we make it so that Dust players can make their own suits from scratch, using modded parts to enhance, for example, speed, recovery, accuracy, and so on. Imagine making a suit with legs with enhanced integrated speed, torso with enhanced integrated recovery and cpu/pg outputs, steadier arm enhancements, and etc. in effect, making the most customizable suit to fit the way you play. Each part could be sold for ISK or AUR, with different levels like militia, standard, advanced, and so on and so forth, along with different shaders and ways to make the suits your own.
While we are at it, how about making it so that we can create different BPOs based on the customized suits? Sure, make it expensive if you have to, but have ISK and AUR variants for every BPO.
Also, how about adding the ability to customize weapons and equipment? Add range showing scopes, IR scopes, stabilizers, silencers, flash-reducers, enhanced mags, better stocks, color changers, hallowed bullets, and so much more. Again with BPOs based on the customizations with ISK and AUR payment methods.

Its a cool idea, really, but this implies to rebuild the game itself, so I dont think it could -or would- be done. Maybe some things could be added, like weapon customization, but not the suit building (legs, torso, etc). |

I think Mikel Arias is right about it not being possible, but I would love more customization, however I dont agree with making our own BPO's. At least not with some risk or something.
Maybe make a BPO creation set as salvage and have it even rarer than decryption keys for our strongboxes, you can sacrifice one of your fully fitted suits, X amount of isk and take it to some sort of agent for like a 60 - 80% chance to successfully create your bpo, if it fails you lose the bpo creation kit but keep evrything else maybe the agent takes like 10% even if it fails.
I think like that it would be pretty nice because there's risk involved to minimize the amount of BPO's in circulation, and gives players the option to just sell the thing to other players so they dont have to deal with the risk of it failing.

I would like to build my own custom suit, but this is not something we need right now. We got bigger fish to fry first.
