I wanted to say goodbye one last time before I signed off for good. What was it that made me leave, it was the PS4. I cannot keep logging into a game that has a shelf life that is soon to end. It will go to the PC and I will not for I am console and I have come to realize it. So I am investing my time and effort in other games, games that will be here long after Dust.
I am sad for I wanted Dust to make it to the PS4, but it looks like it will never make it. Sorry planetside 2 as ugly as it may look makes Dust look even worse. It is soon to be in closed beta on the PS4 and if all goes well I will be part of the closed beta group. I see thing in planetside that could have been Dust. I am not bashing Dust, I am mourning it. It will soon become legion and most of the players will not be there to make the trip over. Ask yourselves will you be willing to buy a PC that can run it efficiently. I will not and I think most do not have the money to blow on a PC to play just one game.

6 months before 2014 FF I was banned, because I predicted a move to the PC platform and expressed an opinion.
My prediction for the last 4 months has been that the PS4 is their platform of choice. Zuckerberge buying Occulus made Morpheus the device to be on.
I bought our first PS4's for Christmas and i'll buy mine in March (Project Cars) for my burfday. FF2015 will showcase Valkyre on the PS4 with the Morpheus.
EVE DUST514 on the PS4 4th QTR 2015-CCP needs to follow the money!

lol you seem to forget that Sony have to want Legion and Valkyrie on PS4 and considering the huuuge negative backlash dust received by the industry you have to ask yourself, why would Sony want it on ps4? also why would CCP who are in a pretty bad way after the cancellation of world of darkness and the various department closures and who are cutting back on expenses want the additional hassle? PC is the easiest and cheapest way to design for and also the less restrictive for them, no jumping through hoops having patches or expansions 'OK'd' by Sony.
They can pretty much do what they want, as and when they want on PC and maybe DUST/LEgion would actually become the game we were promised 3yrs ago

planetside 2 will kill dust for me.. i originally played dust in an effort to relive PS1.. i think i'm buying a PS4 today before i blow my money else where.. tho i looked over the list of games and not a single one looked interesting except for maybe war thunder. the thing about dust that really bugs me is the low player count only allows for the FOTM fit in competitive play.. when you have a 2000 player count then everyones role is welcomed, not like this petty ass sht.. this game is such a joke.. and no hope for the PS4 it's not like they could ever get their p|ss poor frame rate right on the PS3 so why should we expect any better on PS4..

It would never make sense for CCP To port Legion to the PS4... Developing on console creates certain limitations.. Such as the need to instantly update players clients...
Which no developer can do.. Update console clients on the fly.. This is why Many many development studio's separate populations from Console to PC... It has nothing to do with peripheral limitations and competition.
It would never make sense for CCP to port Legion over to the PS4 and run a separate population.. Therefore it will never get ported.
DUST however.... CCP has spent some estimate around a few million getting a product to launch and work on a Console.
They aren't just gonna throw that away.
CCP is in a hard place right now... Each month they are loosing money on EVE... For the first year in the history of CCP. They are loosing subscriptions and therefore loosing revenue...
DUST is the only product CCP has right now that shows a growth in Revenue.. It has earned more money each year compared to the last. This is why they got the greenlight on further development of it.
Legion and DUST are both being developed on the UE3 engine.. They will develop assets for legion to be scalable for low end PC's to run the program... Also allowing them to develop assets for Both DUST and Legion in unison...
Allowing assets to be directly transferable with a implementation and game play balance for DUST.
I Don't see CCP shutting down DUST..... I See it being their console Shooter game as long as they are making money off of it.. and eventually ported to the PS4 if there is enough of a market there.
DUST isn't going anywhere.... It wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint.

Nobody knows what shelf life Dust has, and if you enjoy the game now, why not play it?
I have both a PS3 and PS4, but I play Dust to have fun...nothing else.
I bought Destiny and will also check Planetside 2 when it comes out, but see no reason to quit Dust just because they are other (different) games out there. Hell, I have a shitload of old games for the PS3 which I fire up when I am in the mood.
I guess I never understand why people are so determined to support only one game? |

Dude, assuming you bought a PS3 cash, and a PS4 cash, and bought games for it during the year.... during ALL the years you have owned them.
You have probably spent about the same as another person would buying a humble, decent performing PC.
It's like choosing a 12oz bottle of milk for $1.50, over a gallon of milk for $3.00, because the bigger purchase number frightens you.
But worry not, doesn't seem like Dust/Legion is going to exist on PS4 nor PC.

Atm Xbox one is better than ps4. The vita is better than both combined, pc Is good for p0rn not gaming
