btw invisible swarms are still a thing. If you guys are going to nerf blaster damage w.e. but to remove hit detection just leaves me scratching my head not sure what to think. Also confused how tank blasters are so awful and inaccurate, but blaster installations can tear you apart clear across the map with laser accuracy. you guys are clearly confused as all hell what to do with vehicles but nerfing hit detection is just a full ****** move. what is disturbing is how infantry is so fearless that they run straight at your blaster tank. It's one thing to run at a rail because you don't think the pilot has the aim to rail you. But it's another for infantry to run at your tank to 1v1 you. There needs to be a medium where blaster tanks aren't godmode and just terrorizing the infantry on the battlefield...but at the same time, not running straight at your tank with swarms and you have to dump 100 bullets and hope 8 hits.
we need pre-1.7 blasters. Nobody ever complained about them back then.

Blasters, as per CCPs last known design choice, are SUPPOSED TO be for anti-vehicle work. If you thought you could roll up to infantry and murder them via unloading your stupid, poorly-designed large AR (moonlighting as an AV turret), you are doing it wrong.
In other news, vehicles are lame and in dire need of being completely redesigned. Chop chop, CCP.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever herd a Dev say. I mean, they are godawful at TANK v TANK and now terrible at Infantry v TANK. As it stands right now, the railgun turret is best Anti Infantry. NO joke.

Went back to Logistics after they finally made it not suck complete **** but the Gallente Vehicles and turrets are still trash.
Not to mention that all AV save for the Plasma Cannon is anti armor based.
Great job with that CCP, didn't bother to think that youd need an even balance of anti shield and anti armor AV to make things balanced?
Here's a true story in the early days these were the AV choices at the time: Forge gun (anti armor) Swarm Launcher (anti armor) Remote explosive (anti armor) Both small and large Missile Launcher (anti armor) Both small and large Railguns (anti armor, correction Rails did shield damage in the early days and was changed about a year ago if I'm right) Only Large Blasters (anti shield)
Fast-forward to now and the only difference is the plasma cannon, while very damaging it's only good for medium and light vehicles, especially shields. When it comes to HAVs, if the pilot is smart enough not to crash into something he can easily run away from a plasma cannon.
We need an anti shield Heavy Weapon.
Plasma cannon is deadly bro. A Gallante Commando with dual PLC's can drop shields like a hot knife through butter. I have to admit, I have done it. I ran two officer PLC's on a Gallante Commando with damage mods on one of my Alts and the TTK to kill a tank was under 7 seconds.
